Story
Rosalyn is an 8-year-old female dog, weighing about 13 pounds. She exhibits a friendly attitude towards other dogs but shows a considerable amount of shyness around people. Her small size and gentle nature make her well-suited to a quiet home where she can slowly build trust at her own pace. While Rosalyn may take some time to warm up to new human friends, her sociability with other dogs suggests she could thrive in a household with other pets, providing her with companionship and a sense of security. Her patient owner will be rewarded with her loyalty and affection as she becomes more comfortable in her new environment ##2211378##

If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $650   Etsy is a 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer x Dachshund mix who’s crafting up her dream forever home that includes you! Etsy was rescued from the shelter where she was surrendered to illness in the home of her former people. Through no fault of her own, she found herself needing rescue and we were more than happy to answer the call. Etsy weighs 11 pounds and has that perfect low and low Dachshund body. She’s just adorable isn’t she! If you’re ready for a homemade, adorable new pal, come and order Etsy!      Etsy is a loving, cuddly girl who loves giving kisses and smiling for photos! She is a semi-velcro gal who is happy to follow you around the house but can also relax on the couch and take a nap. She is a huge snuggler and adorably head butts you if you stop petting her before she decides she is done getting love. When you come home, prepare for a wagging tail and a smile, as she is just so excited to see you and greet you! Etsy is the perfect blend of energetic and laid back. She does get zoomies and loves to go out on walks, but she’s also thrilled to relax on the couch with you and catch up on her TV shows. Etsy’s dream home is one ready for a perfect little snuggle bug who also wants to take long walks and explore the world. She can’t wait to check out all the local sights in her new neighborhood with you! Etsy is also super smart and food motivated, picking up on new tricks quickly. She just wants to show off and make you proud of her.  Etsy wakes up around 6 AM and goes outside for potty and zoomies. She gets breakfast at 6:30 AM before she leaves for her morning walk. She settles into her dog bed in the home office as her foster mom gets her workday started. She snoozes for a few hours until afternoon potty and playtime. Once the foster dad comes home, everyone heads out for a walk before dinner is served at 5:30 PM. Etsy relaxes and snuggles on the couch or explores the backyard for the rest of the evening. She goes out for one last potty and then heads to bed around 10 PM.  Etsy lives with two small dogs and gets along with them very well. She is cohabitating with a house cat and is polite to her. She does well when she meets new people as long as they give her time to get acclimated and comfortable. Etsy is working on her leash training and potty training, and would benefit from additional socialization. She is so sweet and just wants to give and receive all the love. Come and grab a home crafted good of your very own with our Etsy!      Etsy is an option for homes who have owned a dog in the past, or homes who have some kind of dog experience. Kids should be over the age of 6.December 17, 2024, 4:45 am

If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $700    Flannel is a 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer x Miniature Poodle (Schnoodle) mix looking for a home to style! Flannel came to our rescue with a Mama and her 4 babies after their former home was evicted and had to rehome their dogs. We agreed to take this little family in and find them forever homes. Flannel weighs 19 pounds and has a non-shedding coat. Right now, he’s rocking a bit of a crazy hairstyle as we had to trim a lot of matted fur, but rest assured once it grows back he’ll be the winner of every beauty contest. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss plans for grooming. Come add this Flannel to your fall wardrobe… he’s the perfect accessory!      Flannel is a dog so full of love it is basically bursting out of him at the seams! He is a total velcro dog who wants to be as close to his person as possible, draping his body across you and showering you in kisses. He would love a home where his person works from home so he can spend all his hours loving you. Flannel is the perfect blend of playing when you want to stretch your legs and snoozing as you work the hours away. Flannel is very smart and curious, so we expect he would be a fabulous companion for a training course or a trip to a local sniff spot. He draws eyes wherever he goes, that’s for sure! He’d love to strut down the street with you as he greets his neighborhood admirers, showing off his wagging tail and his amazing ears. Flannel is such a happy little dog with a permanent smile on his face and spring in his step. Those who love the sassy yet loving personality of the Poodle breed will recognize how perfect this little gentleman is and you’ll be helpless under the gaze of his puppy dog eyes. His soft fur is a joy to pet and you’ll want to spend every minute of your day showing him all the love you have!  Flannel wakes up around 6:30 AM and heads into the yard with the resident dogs for a potty break. He lounges around the house for a few hours while his foster mom takes an exercise class and then eats breakfast. During the day, he hangs around the home and yard with the resident dogs. He loves snuggle time on the couch and is always ready for a cuddle schedule block. He heads out into the yard for regular potty breaks and toy time. He has dinner around 6 PM and then hangs on the couch for a few hours until he goes out for one last potty and then bed. Flannel lives with several dogs and co-exists well with them as long as there is a slow introduction. He walks well on a leash but could use some more practice. Flannel is working on his house training and crate training. He would love a home where his people can be with him much of the time as he has a ton of love to give. Come and add this fabulous limited time piece to your fall collection and adopt Flannel!      Flannel is only an option for homes with prior dog owning experience. Kids in the home should be over the age of 6.December 22, 2024, 8:10 pm

Meet Prince, the charming 1-year-old mystery mix who's seems to be mixed with Schnauzer and some Poodle, only a DNA test will tell for sure. He is ready to steal your heart! If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3.
