Story
Rosalyn is an 8-year-old female dog, weighing about 13 pounds. She exhibits a friendly attitude towards other dogs but shows a considerable amount of shyness around people. Her small size and gentle nature make her well-suited to a quiet home where she can slowly build trust at her own pace. While Rosalyn may take some time to warm up to new human friends, her sociability with other dogs suggests she could thrive in a household with other pets, providing her with companionship and a sense of security. Her patient owner will be rewarded with her loyalty and affection as she becomes more comfortable in her new environment ##2211378##

This 1 year old Miniature Schnauzer-Yorkie mix was rescued from a hoarding situation and is now ready to shine brighter than ever in a forever home as fabulous as he is.   Orion may have started his journey a little timid, but he's blossomed into a confident pup who struts around town in a wardrobe of stylish coats and sweaters like the dapper dog he is. His personality is as stellar as his name: part shooting star, part lovable lap dog. With energy for zoomies when it's playtime and a penchant for cuddles when it's mellow time, Orion has mastered the art of balance. Plus, he's a total brainiac! Training sessions with this food-motivated boy are like launching into orbit—they’re out of this world fun!   His daily routine? Orion wakes up at 7 AM, tail wagging like a metronome, goes for a brisk potty walk, and devours breakfast with gusto. During work hours, he’s a pro at snoozing under desks and being the world's best work buddy. Afternoons include more walks, some toy-tackling, and a few naps sprinkled in. Evenings mean dinner, another walk, and couch snuggles galore before bedtime around 11 PM.   Orion’s a social butterfly who gets along great with dogs, tolerates cats with polite indifference, and adores people of all ages. He’s leash-ready but could use a bit more training to become a sidewalk superstar. Orion is perfect for a loving family with prior dog experience and kids over six who are ready for cosmic cuddles and endless fun.   Ready to add a little star power to your life? Orion’s your guy—come find your new favorite constellation!   Orion is an option for homes with recent dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 6.December 17, 2024, 5:07 am

Etsy was rescued from the shelter where she was surrendered to illness in the home of her former people. Through no fault of her own, she found herself needing rescue and we were more than happy to answer the call. Etsy weighs 11 pounds and has that perfect low and low Dachshund body. She’s just adorable isn’t she! If you’re ready for a homemade, adorable new pal, come and order Etsy!      Etsy is a loving, cuddly girl who loves giving kisses and smiling for photos! She is a semi-velcro gal who is happy to follow you around the house but can also relax on the couch and take a nap. She is a huge snuggler and adorably head butts you if you stop petting her before she decides she is done getting love. When you come home, prepare for a wagging tail and a smile, as she is just so excited to see you and greet you! Etsy is the perfect blend of energetic and laid back. She does get zoomies and loves to go out on walks, but she’s also thrilled to relax on the couch with you and catch up on her TV shows. Etsy’s dream home is one ready for a perfect little snuggle bug who also wants to take long walks and explore the world. She can’t wait to check out all the local sights in her new neighborhood with you! Etsy is also super smart and food motivated, picking up on new tricks quickly. She just wants to show off and make you proud of her.  Etsy wakes up around 6 AM and goes outside for potty and zoomies. She gets breakfast at 6:30 AM before she leaves for her morning walk. She settles into her dog bed in the home office as her foster mom gets her workday started. She snoozes for a few hours until afternoon potty and playtime. Once the foster dad comes home, everyone heads out for a walk before dinner is served at 5:30 PM. Etsy relaxes and snuggles on the couch or explores the backyard for the rest of the evening. She goes out for one last potty and then heads to bed around 10 PM.  Etsy lives with two small dogs and gets along with them very well. She is cohabitating with a house cat and is polite to her. She does well when she meets new people as long as they give her time to get acclimated and comfortable. Etsy is working on her leash training and potty training, and would benefit from additional socialization. She is so sweet and just wants to give and receive all the love. Come and grab a home crafted good of your very own with our Etsy!      Etsy is an option for homes who have owned a dog in the past, or homes who have some kind of dog experience. Sugar was rescued from the shelter with several of her holiday pals. She came in off the street, so we don’t know much about her past, but we promised that her next chapter would be fabulous! Sugar Plum weighs 12 pounds and has a wonderfully scruffy coat that is a dream to pet. If you’re hoping to cast a family production of the Nutcracker, come on down and meet our loveliest little ballerina!       Sugar Plum Fairy is a sweet, mellow girl who is looking for her cuddle companions. Our ballerina is one of the smartest pups ever and she wows us every day with her charm and wit. Sugar Plum likes to cuddle and be with her people as often as possible, as she has so much love to shower her people in. Sugar Plum is great at keeping her foster mom company during the work day, just give her a toy to play with and a warm blanket to cuddle in and she’s set for hours! Sugar is still learning how to “dog” but she has started playing with the resident dogs and it has been a pleasure to watch her start to blossom. Sugar is the perfect blend of energetic and couch potato: while you work she’s happy to snooze but she can also keep up with you on a long hike! Sugar Plum is hoping to find a home ready to let her settle in at her own pace. If you give her time to get comfortable, she will reward you with fierce loyalty and endless devotion. We know that this girl will be a dream dog for the home ready to earn her trust and loyalty. We promise the reward will be so worth it!  Sugar Plum Fairy wakes up at 7 AM for a short potty break before she takes herself back to sleep for some morning cuddles. She goes on a morning walk and then has breakfast around 8 AM. She lounges around during most of the morning before she gets another afternoon stroll to stretch her legs. She plays with her toys and naps until she heads out on a post-work stroll followed by dinner. She loves to join her foster people on the couch for some evening cuddles and scratches. She goes to bed in her pen for the night at 10 PM and curls up on her warm blankets to dream of the Nutcracker!  Sugar Plum Fairy currently lives with several dogs. She would thrive in a home with another dog or a human who works from home. Sugar is still working on her leash walking and training skills and will need more work in her forever home. Come and meet this gorgeous Sugar Plum Fairy today!    Sugar Plum Fairy is an option for homes who have some dog experience. Kids should be over the age of 6.December 17, 2024, 5:07 am

Sherlock was rescued from the shelter after we agreed to help him solve the case of his mysterious past. What we do know is that this handsome gentleman is just the absolute best dog in the world! Sherlock weighs 24 pounds, making him the perfect size for all the adventures you have in store with him. Come on down to the detective agency and meet Mr. Sherlock Bones today!     Sherlock Bones is the biggest cuddle bug in the entire world according to… literally everyone who has ever met him! He almost instantly rolled onto his belly in the shelter and that truly demonstrates the amazing dog Sherlock is. Sherlock loves his people and is happiest when he can be where you are. Whether on a long hike or on the couch, he’s just ready to be part of your family. Sherlock is also a gymnast! He can hop up on the couch or into your arms with ease. Like his namesake, Sherlock is super smart as well and picks up on new tricks quickly. He is very food motivated and would be thrilled to discover new snacks at dog-friendly restaurants with you! Sherlock is the perfect mix of playful and relaxed. He’s happy to play fetch for as long as you’re willing to throw the ball but then he will happily flop down for some cuddles afterwards. Sherlock is ready to be your loyal right hand man for all the adventures on your bucket list. He’ll help you memories and experiences beyond your wildest dreams from the moment you bring him into your home!  Sherlock wakes up around 8 AM and hangs out in his crate for around 30 minutes until he goes out for a morning walk. He returns home and enjoys his kibble breakfast. Once he’s eaten, he’s ready for a few games of fetch with his favorite squirrel toy. The rest of the morning and afternoon is spent as a cuddly lap dog, being as close to you as possible. He goes out for a pee break at 1 PM and then gets a longer walk at 6 PM. He eats dinner and then is ready for more cuddle time! He loves rolling onto his back as you scratch his belly and shower him in love. Sherlock goes out for one last potty and then heads into his crate around 11 PM for the night.  Sherlock Bones does well with dogs when he is given a slow introduction. He would benefit from additional training and socialization as he is still pretty much a puppy. Sherlock is crate trained and is happy to quietly hang out when he needs to. This playful gentleman can’t wait to meet you and win your heart! Come solve the mystery of your missing best friend and adopt Sherlock Bones!      Sherlock Bones is an option for a variety of homes, even if they do not have dog owning experience.
