Story
Kona is a 9-year-old Miniature Schnauzer mix weighing only about 30 pounds. With his long white and tan coat, he's quite the handsome fellow, and he's also quite the good boy on the inside. Shy at first, he warms to friendliness quickly and, as the smart boy he is, you'll find him eager to learn. You'll love having this boy as yours, and he'll love being yours. (posted 1/27/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **January 27, 2025, 12:50 pm

Story
He's small, between 13 and 15 pounds, and yet he's filled with a kind of joy you don't always see these days. And because he's so small we would prefer him to go to a family without children under 10. At 1 ½ years old, Bama is a Mini Schnauzer/Yorkie mix wearing a long and scruffy tan and white coat and looking out at you with big eyes! He's outgoing, and sweet but can also be shy when first meeting someone. What a sweetheart this boy is! Story
Jake will be 6 years old in April. He is a purebred miniature schnauzer. We have had him since he was a puppy, when my children were much younger. Now, with our schedules, he has to stay in a kennel entirely too much. He deserves better. Jake is incredibly loving and sweet. He is super excited when you first come home, but he calms fairly quickly. He is used to being with his brother, but we can separate them if needed. He's never been around cats or other dogs besides his brother, so I don't know how well he would do with them. We typically separate him from small children until he calms down just because we don't want him to jump and scare someone.

Story
Ace will be 6 years old in April. We have had him since he was a puppy; my children were much younger. Now that my children are older, we are hardly home, and Ace has to stay in a kennel way longer than he deserves. He is incredibly affectionate, but can be protective. He isn't mean, but he definitely watches out for those he loves. He's only ever been around his brother regarding other animals, so I don't know how he would do with others. We typically separate him from small children because he's easily excitable. We'd love for him to have a home with a fenced yard where he can play outside -- a home where people are home more than we are. He deserves that. Note about Ace: He likes to dig in the trash and eat things he shouldn't. :) We have resolved this by having trash cans with lids that seal.
