APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) We don't know why in the world this little girl was named Blueberry but she does know here name! Blueberry is somewhat a mouthful so she also answers to "Blue" and "Berry". We do know that she is very sweet and has an innocence about her personality. At 5 years old she is looking for a family where someone is home most of the time and we think she would love to run and play with children in a fenced in yard although she woud do good just going for long walks in the neighborhood as well. Blueberry is a snuggler and wants to be around family members. She really listens to what you are saying and will comply as well. She's not too fond of a crate and would rather sleep in a doggie bed near her people or even snuggle next to you in your bed. Blueberry is a great eater, and is always on the prowl for treats, food, or a handout. We tell her No! for table scraps and she will comply and go lay down. Just the tip of the iceberg when describing this wounderful miniature-poodle, who only weighs 13 lbs. She is up to date on core vaccinations, spayed, and has been microchipped. She is a healthy little girl seeking a loving family that she can truly call home!Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Story
Meet Monnie, a 1 1/2-year-old Poodle mix! He wears a long curly white coat and now weighs 45 pounds, but still has a little filling in to do. Monnie came in very emaciated with mats all over him, hence the short coat. He was very shy and fearful when he first arrived but is now showing his wonderful personality to everyone! Monnie is a very playful and goofy dog, always running around jumping with a smile on his face. He does prefer to be the only dog in a household though, as he wants the spotlight all to himself. Adopt this sweet and silly boy and let him fill your life with love and laughter! (ME, 9/29/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 12, 2024, 4:09 pm

Story
Zoey is a healthy, sweet-tempered 4-year old mini poodle. She is patient and gentle, never aggressive, great with kids. She loves other dogs and is good with cats. She is fairly low maintenance, enjoys walks and loves attention but also does well lounging around the house. Her only real problem is an anatomical issue (ectopic ureter) which causes her to leak urine on occasion. So she is house-trained but will still have accidents sometimes because the pee leaks out of her body when she is lying down. To correct this, she would need surgery (which we cannot presently afford). This condition does not affect her health (aside from increased susceptibility to UTIs) or temperament at all but can be frustrating to deal with. Sometimes she has gone 6 months or more without an issue, but other times she’ll have multiple accidents in the same week.
