Story
Looking for a miniature poodle companion that will join you for some walks? Well let me introduce you to Charlie! Charlie walks beautifully on a leash, naturally heeling and responding well to leash pressure. During his assessment, he preferred to keep a polite distance from other dogs, showing a preference for staying close to his handler. But his foster tells us he opens up a lot at home and likes to hangout with the other dogs he lives with! Charlie would also be happy to be your one and only canine companion! Charlie has a reserved nature and prefers to observe rather than engage, both with people and other dogs. He met the house cat and remained avoidant, making him a great dog for a home with cats! He would likely thrive in an apartment setting due to his small size and great leash skills. He will require a home without young children and would prefer a calmer home. With patience and understanding, Charlie will blossom into a loving and grateful companion. Adopt Charlie today and make him the happiest boy! Story
Meet Guppy – Your New Best Friend! Guppy is a sweet and loving male miniature poodle mix, approximately 6 years old and currently around 15 lbs. He is 100% housebroken and happy to sleep in his own bed but also loves to sleep with his foster in her comfy human bed. This boy loves his walks and will let you know when he's ready for one by crying at the front door. Guppy came to us after being found tangled in a chain link fence with long, matted fur. His poor coat had to be shaved down, but it will grow back beautifully in time. The sores pictured are healing great. Despite everything he has been through, Guppy is as sweet as they come and is already showing how much he adores people. He has a cataract in one eye but we have been assured it does not affect his quality of life. Here’s more to love about Guppy: - **Good with Kids & Cats**: Guppy was tested with young children and cats and passed with flying colors. He’s gentle and calm, making him an ideal family pet. - **Perfect for Apartment Living**: Guppy is a quiet little guy. He rarely barks and will let you know when he needs to go outside by politely crying at the door. - **Loves People**: Guppy is incredibly friendly and loves meeting new people. Anyone can pick him up, play with him, or cuddle him. He’s full of love and affection! - **Great with Other Dogs**: He currently shares a home with another dog, and they get along perfectly. They’ve even been spotted snuggling up in the same dog bed! If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, and loving companion, Guppy could be the perfect match. His heart is as open as ever, ready to find a forever home where he can finally be safe, loved, and cherished. He is being fostered in Friendswood, TX and can travel to the PNW, the East Coast, and Canada.
