She loves playing and running around with her foster sisters big and small. She is great with cats and all size dogs. She is perfectly happy with a large group of dogs and cats or would do great as the only pet. Her favorite spot is in your lap cuddling. She responds to commands like come, sit and no. She loves kids as well. Meet Bruno!Bruno is a 3 year-old Poodle mix and basically the perfect doggy. He loves to be around humans of all ages and to get pats; he also has his independent side and can run around on his own. So he would be fine as the only dog is the house or would also be happy hanging out with doggy companions. He’s so incredibly sweet and chill, but can also be excited and energetic! His personality is just the absolute best. He seems to be mostly potty trained but has had a few accidents, which was probably just due to him being in a new situation. He is the calmest bath taker I’ve ever fostered! So easy and chill. These adorable pups we were told had a toy poodle mom and dad. Brylee is super friendly, cuddly, and he can be very chill for a puppy..He will sit in his foster mom’s lap for snuggles.! His favorite hobby is playing with his siblings and other foster dogs. As of 2/13 Bryson was 4.6 lbs 🐶 Adopters must live in the DFW area 🐶 Adopters must have a fully fenced in yard (no apartment homes), 🐶 Current/ past pets must have/had a good vaccine record, spayed/neutered, and have/had proof of a consistent history of heartworm prevention. 🐶 smaller puppy homes require children at least 5 years of age We will be accepting multiple applications to ensure we find the best fit for each puppy. Marty is being fostered in PA. 1-17-2026 Update for Marty Marty is doing really well in his foster home and is still a spunky little man with a bit of arthritis in his backend but it doesn't slow him down. Marty's hearing continues to be pretty good for his age and he is right in the mix of his foster siblings when Mom comes home after being out for any time. Marty's hair has grown in nicely on his back. He was almost bald when he came to his foster home. Marty's foster mom had never seen a change in a foster's personality quite as drastic as she did following Marty's dental, when all of his teeth had to be removed. Some teeth were so badly decayed that they had begun to calcify and attach to his jaw bones. After a few days of recovery, he began to eat and to be interested in the world. Marty eats soaked kibble with some soft food mixed in and eats every bite of each meal. He is now on 4 medications for his congestive heart failure and is doing very well with just an occasional cough. Fun facts about Marty: -He LOVES burrowing into beds that have a flap for him to crawl under -He is not safe when on furniture because he will quickly decide he wants off and give no warning and has no fear. -Marty never barks -Marty is smaller than the two cats in his foster home and really doesn't care. :) Little Marty is a sweet, easy-going little mini poodle guy who gets along with dogs and cats and people of all ages. His breed is guessed at as a full blooded mini poodle. His estimated age is about 13 but he's a very quick-stepping little man and enjoys exploring his environment, especially outside. He can find his way to the door and he was doing a great job at pottying outside until his foster mom went back to work a couple weeks ago. He will be very easy to get back in the habit of eliminating outside with a forever family who is home more. He's fairly easy to figure out in that, if he's up and exploring, he needs to go out. :) Marty has a very thin coat of fur on his torso but he does not have any visible skin issues and does not itch. His thyroid levels were checked and were fine. We know little about his past life so he may be recuperating from a past issue. Marty is leash trained and does well but because he's a small and older guy, walks won't be very fast. He also rides well in the car. At this time, he seems to enjoy dog bed hopping over being on a lap and he will walk right off the edge of a chair or bed. He needs to be carried up and down stairs and has no awareness of being at the top of stairs. He will remind his foster mom if his breakfast or dinner is overly late. Marty has had a slight cough since arriving in his foster home and following an xray on September 16th, it was discovered that his heart is slightly enlarged and he has a small amount of fluid in the upper portion of his one lung. These are both signs of congestive heart failure, which is fairly common in little old men like Marty. He will probably need to take Benazepril, Lasix and Pimobendan for the rest of his life. These medications run about 50.00 per month. Marty will have a dental on September 26th. He will probably need to have most, if not all, of his teeth extracted but it will be so much better for him to have a healthy mouth again! Marty will make a sweet little companion for some family. He's very excited to be spoiled and doted on for the rest of his days. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
