Story
Charles has been doing great in his foster home and is ready for his forever family. He’s a 1 1/2 year old Maltese/Poodle mix (our best guess), weighing 13 lbs. His foster family says he’s a calm, affectionate dog who likes to be close to his people. While he gets along with both cats and dogs, he prefers human companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around often. The other dogs in his foster home are trying to teach him to play, but he hasn't quite figured it out yet. If there are children in the home they need to be in thier teens because little kids can overwhelm him. Charles is both potty trained and kennel trained. If you are looking for a lap or cuddle buddy, Charles is your guy! Please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
