Story
Once known as Aries, this courageous little guy came to us with a significant injury, in need of compassion, expert care, and a fresh start. Thanks to dedicated medical treatment and an abundance of love, he has made an incredible recovery. Today, he’s healthy, happy, and ready to begin his next chapter with a forever family to call his own. Now answering to the name Trip, this resilient one-year-old Cavapoo refuses to let his past define him. He’s full of life, affection, and nonstop tail wags, ready to “trip” his way straight into your heart. Because an old injury wasn’t properly treated before his rescue, his front left leg had to be amputated, but don’t tell Trip he’s missing anything! He’s thriving on three legs and has adjusted beautifully to his new normal. He zips around with confidence, plays with his toys like it’s his full-time job, and embraces life with joyful determination. Trip has soft reddish-blond curls that they’ll require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. In his foster home, Trip does well with other dogs. However, he would prefer not to share his favorite humans or his treasured toys and would thrive in a home that understands his desire for a little personal space when it comes to the things he loves most. He has also done wonderfully with older, respectful children who understand how to interact gently and kindly. A true cuddle bug at heart, Trip simply wants to be close to his people. His sweet, devoted personality shines through in everything he does, and he’s more than ready to bring love, loyalty, and plenty of happy moments to his forever home. He is: • ✨ Neutered • 💉 Up to date on all vaccinations • 📍 Microchipped • 🐾 Adapting incredibly well as a tripod This brave boy doesn’t need sympathy, he just needs a family who will love him as much as he will love them. He’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of snuggles into a forever home. If you’re looking for a devoted, playful, and inspiring companion, this special guy is ready to hop right into your heart. Trip is currently being fostered in Dauphin County. Interested adopters must visit his foster home twice. The first visit is a meet and greet with all the members of the household, including the existing dogs. If approved the second visit is to take him home. www.zoeshouserescue.com Kennel license: 9117 PO box 2372 Reading, PA 19608

Say hello to this 4 year old boy who is now completely retired from the puppy farm and is waiting to start his new life with his forever family. His name is Romeo, he is a 16 pound mini poodle with long legs that make him look like a baby deer and oh so handsome 😍 His white stripes on his face and paws make him so perfect like a painted portrait. Romeo is still learning what affection and love mean. He gets so excited to see his people but still can be scared at times with new faces. He loves respectful children, does well with cats. He gets along well with all dogs but can also be the only boy. He does not like the crate, and would prefer someone who is home more often than not so he can cuddle 🥰 He is learning to walk on a leash but a fenced yard is best for him. He does scare easily outside especially with new noise. He loves to be next to you on couch and sleeps well all night long on the bed. He is working on his bathroom etiquette, and does wear a belly band when his people are out of house. He loves rides in the car and sits like a gentleman. He is neutered and up to date with all his vaccines. He is a poodle and will require regular grooming to maintain his curly coat. All adopters must be willing to travel for a meet and greet with family and any other pets. Romeo is fostered in Scranton. Apply for this handsome boy at www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue. Story
Meet CeCe, the best friend you’ve been searching for! At just 4 years old, this sweet girl has already been through so much. When she first came to her foster home, she was frail and terrified, trembling at the slightest sound or gesture. It took time for her to adjust; she dealt with anxiety, refusing to walk on a leash and barely eating or sleeping. But here’s the beautiful part of CeCe’s story: with love and patience, she has blossomed! These days, she struts confidently on a leash, loves to play with her toys, and has found a joyful bounce in her step. Her tail hasn’t stopped wagging—it's a testament to the trust and affection she’s discovered in her new life. CeCe thrives with another dog and is specifically looking for a home that has a furry friend to show her the ropes! Though she may not be a fan of her crate, she tolerates it at night and for when you need to run errands. She would ideally have a family member who works from home or is retired. CeCe is a gentle soul, eager to share her love with a family that truly understands her. Her soft fluffy coat makes her a delightful cuddle buddy, and her beautiful personality shines brighter every day, she does require regular grooming. Things to consider if you apply for the position of CeCe’s new bestie….she will need a very secured, fenced in outdoor space and patience with leash walks. She will have some anxiety in a new environment and will need space to decompress again. She is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and her potty training is going well as long as she keeps to a routine. If you’re looking for a loyal friend, CeCe is ready to bring joy into your home! Story
Meet Missy Missy is a 6½‑year‑old, 10 lb poodle who came to us from a Lancaster commercial breeder and is now discovering what it feels like to be cared for with kindness. When she arrived, she was extremely matted, but thanks to our incredible volunteers, she was gently groomed, bathed, and made to feel like a million bucks right away. Throughout the entire grooming process, Missy was sweet, patient, and trusting, quietly showing us just how special she is. While life hasn’t been kind to her so far, she’s beginning to learn that from here on out, it’s only good things. Missy is: 🐾 Sweet and gentle 🐾 Shy but kind‑hearted 🐾 Learning to feel safe and loved She’s looking for a loving, patient home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to continue coming out of her shell. A calm environment, gentle routines, and a person who understands that trust is built slowly will help Missy truly blossom. If you’re ready to offer a soft place to land for a deserving little poodle, Missy is ready to start her next chapter with you. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive the dental as the vet deems necessary. Apply today at: www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Adoption fee: $500 Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, PA Kennel License #5152

Story
hi Babette, this lovely girl is an approx. 4 year old mixed breed. We suspect she is a Bouvier and Poodle mix but your guess is as good as ours. She was abandoned at a police station and brought to the local animal control shelter . She is about 60 lbs. We do not know what her past was but she is thriving now! When she first entered the animal control shelter she was extremely guarded, nervous and fearful. Thankfully, with our volunteers she has done a total 180 and is so much fun! She has been affectionate, silly and friendly, though she can still be nervous sometimes around new people. She can also be pretty stubborn when she refuses to do something (like walk back to the kennel). She is looking for experienced dog home, without young children. Babette has been doing amazing at the rescue - she is often found playing around with our larger dogs. She is also handled without issues by all of our volunteers (male and female). She was briefly adopted but then returned to us. The adopter let us know that she was not doing well with the men in the house and would once again be very guarded around them. She needs an experienced home that will help her through the adjustment period until she is comfortable. We will be looking to place her in a female only home at this time. She would need to meet any resident dogs but has been playful and friendly in playgroups with dogs of similar size and energy. She will come spayed, vaccinated, 4dx tested and microchipped. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $475. Story
🩵 It's Winter! I am the adorable, 10lb Bichon and I am still patiently waiting for my forever family. In the meantime, I am making so much progress and I have become a more relaxed, playful and confident dog since I was sprung from the farm 3 months ago. AND I have figured out that I LOVE to snuggle close to my humans on the couch! If you are looking for a calm, adorable, snuggle buddy, I am your girl. My ideal forever family would include: ❄️ A calm home with patient humans and kids over 8sih. I am low energy and I prefer to spend my days napping in a sunny spot and getting lots of pets and snuggles. ❄️ A home with a secure fence that goes all the way to the ground. I am an escape artist and I figured out how to wiggle under the fence at my foster home. ❄️ A home where I can be free to roam. I HATE the crate! I sleep all night on a pillow next to my foster parents' bed and I don't make a peep and I have free reign of the house during the day. ❄️ A person or family who loves snuggles as much as I do. I was spayed and I am UTD on vaccinations and microchipped. I had an Xray of my right hip which showed some degenerative changes, but I don't appear to be in any discomfort. I will need to be on joint supplementation for the rest of my life, but I take medication without a problem when it's tucked into some soft food. I also had to have a few teeth pulled, but my foster mom says that I look like an adorable first grader, missing my front teeth. Potty training is a work in progress, if I am taken out at regular intervals, I am ok, I am working on the concept of "holding it" until my mom comes home from work to let me out, but when I am taken out regularly, I am fine. Regression is normal in new environments. If you are looking for a loyal companion and the cutest little button of a dog, I am your girl. I am being fostered in Western Berks County, PA. www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
Hi! I am Evvie! Pleased to meet you. Are you looking for a lot of joy and giggles in a curly little package? That is how my foster mom describes me and I agree. I am a 4-year old cockapoo that came to Zoe's House after I was done raising puppies for my former owner. Life is too short for grudges though and I am here to enjoy each day the best I know how. I will say that I much prefer a home setting over my former digs. Cozy blankets and beds are my jam. Here is more that my foster mom has to say about me: Socialization: Evvie is a fan of everyone she meets, humans and animals alike. Evvie is currently living with several larger dogs, but has met and played with the neighbor's smaller dog as well. She is fearless, but is very respectful about boundaries and reads other dogs well. Evvie has met several smaller children and absolutely adored them. She would be best suited to littles age 4 and up so that she doesn't knock them over as she does like to jump and try to give kisses. Training: Evvie knows how to sit for treats. She walks well on leash, although her nose is always trying to take her in multiple directions at once. Evvie is still mastering house-training and will need a home dedicated to creating structure and consistency so that she can continue to become more reliable in this area. Crate trained: Evvie is crate trained and stays in a medium-sized crate while her foster parents are at work. She goes in readily, especially when it is time to eat or she knows she will get a snack. She will rest quietly and does not whine or fuss as a general rule. Activity level/requirements: Evvie is a medium energy dog. She is over the puppy phase, but she is still quite energetic. She has done amazing on longer walks and hikes and loves to explore! Fence requirements: Fencing is preferred in a large lot setting, though not a deal breaker if the adoptive home is committed to frequent exercise on leash. Evvie is sight driven and will run when the mood strikes. She is very fast for such a little lady and she does not currently have a reliable recall. Boundary training is not an option for her. Personality: Has it been mentioned what a funny, happy-go-lucky lady Miss Evvie is? She is spunky and silly at times, but she also knows how to chill out and relax while the humans do their daily tasks. Evvie loves a good snuggle on the couch and likes to be held. When allowed to sleep on the bed, she prefers sleeping at the foot because covers make her too hot. She will sleep all night in crate or on the bed and is content to get up whenever the humans do. Health history: Evvie is UTD on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, & on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. She had a dental at time of her spay. If Evvie sounds like a good match, apply for her at zoeshouserescue.com and fill out an application under her profile. Applications are not received through other websites such as petfinder or adoptapet. Zoe'sHouseRescue Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA

Story
Meet Libby! 🐾 Libby is a 4 year old maybe Cavapoo. That is what we were told, but honestly we are not entirely sure what this girl is, just that she is CUTE, spunky, and full of personality. Libby is learning what it means to be a loved, spoiled (and mannered!) dog. Libby is housebroken as long as she is taken out regularly and is crate trained. She will sometimes go into her crate on her own and does well being crated when left alone. She may occasionally cry for a short time but settles well overall. This girl has lots of energy and would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match her enthusiasm. She loves having a canine buddy and would be most secure and happiest with a fenced in yard where she can run, play, and burn off her zoomies. Libby is sweet and affectionate with her people, but she is also very curious. She has a habit of counter surfing and grabbing things, so her future family must be very careful and consistent about keeping items picked up to keep her safe. She is already improving with structure and supervision. Libby has been good, though a little curious with cats. She is also great with young kids and does well with them. Libby would do best with an adopter who understands her energy level, is committed to continued training, and can provide both structure and playtime. In return, you will get a funny, loving pup with a big personality who is impossible not to fall for. If you are looking for a playful companion who brings equal parts sweetness and silliness, Libby might just be your girl 🐶💛 Apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com Kennel license 9117 Reading PA 19608
