Story
We adopted Weston in 2020 from a breeder where he’d been a breeding dog until he was 1 year old. Now at 6 years old, he’s a possible Bichon mix with a gentle spirit. We’re looking to rehome him to a loving, patient family who can offer a calm environment and plenty of time to spend with him, as he thrives on companionship. Wessy is quiet, affectionate, and sociable—getting along wonderfully with our two cats (especially his playful feline buddy) and most other animals and dogs. He’s also a bit anxious and fearful at times, but his joy shines through when he’s with those he loves. Aside from occasionally chewing toys or stray items, he’s a sweet, loyal companion who’d flourish in a caring home.

Story
*quiet arguing* "I don't want to", "you can do it", "but, I'm scared", "you'll be ok, I promise". Um, hi... I'm Abigail. Public speaking isn't really my thing, but my foster mom says that I'm really brave, so here I am. I don't know why she calls me brave because I'm scared of everything. But I'm trying really hard to figure out this whole "being a pet" thing. It's time for me to search for my forever family. My ideal family would be home often, since I get real anxious when I am all alone. I would prefer a home with no young children, but I would love some doggy siblings! Please consider me if you're looking to add another canine to your family. Abigail is a 2 year old mini goldendoodle who was surrendered by a commercial breeder. She is extremely timid and needs a patient, understanding home that can continue to work on her confidence. A fence is required for this sweet girl, no exceptions. Abigail does not do well on a leash or lead, which causes her to panic and try to bolt. Having another dog around makes her feel more comfortable, especially if they don't mind her being a bit clingy. Abigail is up to date on shots, preventatives, microchipped and spayed. She is still working on potty training, but does well when taken out often. Crates are her arch nemesis, but needed for when she is left alone. When she's anxious, she likes to chew so shoes and wires need to be kept away and proper toys available. Abigail is being fostered in Sinking Spring and all members of the household will need to travel there for a meet and greet. Will you consider opening your heart to give this girl a lifetime of happy memories? Please apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt

Meet Mama Sammy’s SWEET BABIES!!!! These sweet little puppies were born in rescue on 1/16/2025. After a DNA test we found out that are 53% mini poodle, 18% chihuahua and smaller percentage of a few other breeds. Tulip is 7 weeks old and almost ready to find her forever home. She is super sweet and loves to snuggle, she also likes to explore. She has a blast playing with her litter mates and the smaller dogs in her foster home. She has also been around cats and hasn’t paid any attention to them. She loves playing with toys, soft rubber toys, stuffies, and playing in the ball pit. We are working on litter training them and they have been doing pretty good with catching on, they do have accidents outside the box but it’s a good start. They are eating wet puppy food currently and will be introduced to dry puppy food in the coming days. Due to their age they are not altered and will be adopted out on a spay/neuter contract that comes with an additional fee on top of the adoption fee. This spay/neuter fee is 100% refundable when the contract is followed. They have all had their first round of distemper, this is the only vaccine they are currently old enough to have. They have also had their first round of dewormer and will have a second round before they are able to be adopted. If you think one of these sweet little babies would make a perfect addition to your family, apply today!!! These sweet babies are being foster in Berks County and potential adopters will need to come to this area for a meet and greet with all family members and current residential dogs. www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hey there! My name is Ramble! I'm a 2-3 year old poodle mix, and I weigh 12lbs. I was left all on my own wandering the woods near a park all winter. I was too scared to go up to a stranger and the longer I was on my own, the more scared I was. I was first sighted running loose in early November, then finally my foster mom caught me in February! She tricked me by putting food in a cage and when I went in, the door snapped shut! How Rude!! Little did I know that my life was about to get so much better! My hair was extremely matted and I was having difficulty seeing because it was over my eyes. It was even so knotted that one of my legs was hard to move! My foster mom got me groomed and took me right to the vet. After I was groomed and had all my vet care, I realized that life in a home isn't so scary and people can be really kind! I have really blossomed in my foster home and I'm a very happy boy now. I love to play with toys, follow my foster mom around, and go for walks! I have springs in my feet and I can hop right over a low fence! I would love to get into agility classes! I LOVE FETCH! I’ll chase a ball all day! I love to cuddle. I'm a big fan of lap time and snoozing on the couch together. Due to my history of being loose for several months, I should never be trusted off leash in an unfenced area. I will need a 4+ foot secure fence and to always be attended outside, or to always be kept on leash. I like other dogs but it matters most if they like me! I am learning how to play with my dog friends. I get very excited and I'm told I can be a bit much for them. I would be perfectly happy as an only dog, or if I'm adopted into a family with other dogs, they will need to be able to keep up with me! I'm a busy guy who loves to play! I'm very excited to start the next chapter of my life in my forever home!! Ramble is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for heartworm. He is routinely treated with parasite preventatives. Ramble is being fostered in Southern Lancaster County and interested adopters must come to his foster home twice. The first visit is a meet and greet with all the members of the household including existing dogs in the home. The second visit is to take him home. Go online to www.zoeshouserescue.com and complete an adoption application! We do not always receive applications submitted through adoptapet or petfinder. Story
Life has gotten so much better for 3 little poodles that were rescued in February and it’s only going to get better as they look forward to becoming cherished family members in their new forever homes. Hazel, whose date of birth is 11/17/18, was listed as a red poodle on her papers. She is incredibly sweet but has been somewhat timid and is slowly learning to trust. Her ear mites are cleared up and after being brought up to date on vaccinations, she had a much-needed grooming. Her groomer sent us a before and after picture of her, and remarked that Hazel was so timid she wouldn’t look at her initially but after the groom it was like Hazel thought, you made me feel so much better, you may be someone I can trust and looked at her. Hazel was spayed and had a hernia repair as well, which we had not been aware of, and a dental on 3/6/25. On 2/25/25 she weighed 8.9 pounds. Hazel is heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. Due to her small size, Hazel will only be considered for homes with older children. Hazel’s adoption donation is $665 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt this precious little sweetheart, who is currently being fostered in Arkansas, and give her the kind of life she so richly deserves, the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Brother to Fido and Zac. Surrendered by a breeder, I find myself unsure of people, yet longing to be loved.  I’m Reno, a 1 yr old PURE BREED MINI POODLE Boy, weighing about 20 #, who is uncertain of the outside world. Having lived most of my first year with little human socialization, I’m shy, timid, reserved and skittish to people and situations. ( NOT Aggressive ). On the “FLIP SIDE” I LOVE other dogs, am gentle, good natured and playful! My fear CAN BE CORRECTED with your love, understanding and time. Poodles are known to be very intelligent. I’m no acceptation. Do you know what else is GREAT about us poodles? You guessed it. We are HYPER ALLERGENIC. Although I’m smart, I have no idea what HYPER ALLERGENIC means, but guess it’s a good thing to be! Living in a kennel environment at my rescue, I still have a few things to learn about being a dog, but with your help, I’m sure this won’t take long. Just having consistent care givers I’m already learning to give and take love here. Being VERY DOG FRIENDLY, another dog would be best in my new home, but not required. Sorry, no kids due to my skittishness, for my safety. NO issues with aggression, just safety.  I do require a 4 ft fenced yard due to my fear, shyness just for my safety as well. So, what ya think? Do you want to take a “GAMBLE”, “Roll the Dice”, and “HIT the JACKPOT”! I’m “Betting” RENO won’t last long! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 9:38 pm
