Story
I`m Latke! I`m a scared little doodle looking for a new home. I came in to the shelter as a stray and need lots of work and socialization. I am very fearful and nervous with new people and situations. I could potentially live in a home with older (13yo) dog savvy children. My friends at the shelter think having a confident canine companion may help me to be more sociable. I am looking for a home that can help me to become more confident and social. If you feel like you could be my people please come down the shelter and lets meet.---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Daisy; innocence, purity, new beginnings… what better name to bless a once used and abused commercial breeding mama ❤️‍🩹 Everyone meet Miss Daisy Poo. Daisy is a 3yr old(ish) Merle mini poodle weighing just under 12lbs and boy is she a stunner!!! With her beautiful Merle coloring and her ice blue eye she is sure to melt your heart. Daisy is still super duper shy and will require a very patient and understanding home. Hi friends, it’s me Daisy. I’d like to start by telling you I’m still pretty fearful of the world. My life before rescue wasn’t great, I still hold a lot of trauma from that. My foster family is teaching me that not all people are mean and I trust them, but Im still super nervous. I will need a new family that is quiet and chill with very minimal commotion. Another furry sibling who is also calm and chill would be amazing. I love all my foster siblings, both canine and feline, but when my doggie friends get crazy, I’m not really about that life. My foster mom says I am a Queen with the potty thing whatever that means. Maybe she is happy cause I never go inside. I’m also ok with a crate. Even though my foster mom tries to get me to sleep with her, Im still not ready for that so I sleep alone, peacefully in my crate. Daisy has not had much practice on a leash, she will require a fenced in yard. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE! She is UTD on all vaccines and preventatives. She has also been spayed and had a full dental with a few extractions. If you are the calm and quiet home with a fenced in yard that Miss Daisy needs to be her bestest self, please apply for her at www.zoeshouserescue.com Kennel License 9117 Reading PA 19608

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 1/20/25 New pictures of Polar! His hair is growing out and he’s doing well! We would like to see Polar and Scotch adopted together, Polar is very reliant on Scotch. You can see Scotch here https://www.adoptastrayrescue.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=2114399012/18/24 Polar is an adorable little poodle mix who was found running the streets along with his friend, Scotch. Polar's coat was so matted, we couldn't even find his skin to vaccinate him. We had him groomed and we were pleasantly surprised to see how cute he is! Polar is a small guy, about 18 lbs. We are unsure of his exact breed but feel pretty sure he is some sort of 'doodle.' He is a young guy, maybe a year old. He is great with everyone- adults, kids, cats, and dogs. He's a friendly, outgoing guy who just needs a home of his own. He is crate trained and house trained. He previously was marking in the house but he’s been neutered and this behavior has stopped.  He is fully vetted and heartworm negative! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.                                                                              KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Schnoodles are a mix of a Schnauzer and a Poodle. They have hair-like coats that shed very little and produce low dander, making them a popular choice for those seeking hypoallergenic pets. Schnoodles are social animals that crave companionship and loyalty; they enjoy being part of the family. While they can be protective, they tend to be more vocal than aggressive, often characterized by being "all bark and no bite.  Elijah, is a 2.5 yr. old Schnoodle that weighs about 35  lbs. He and his five littermates were born on June 19, 2022, from a backyard breeder. They were in very poor condition, extremely dirty, matted, and underweight. All of them have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and  shaved down.  Elijah has come a long way but still needs a lot of work. He is vey shy and needs quite a bit of coaxing to come around. He is still very frightened but is doing much better with anti anxiety medication. He would do best in a home with another confident dog to show him how to trust humans.  Adoption Donation $200 Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please email: rescuedp2024@icloud.com   for dog/puppies in foster or  dianespets1486@gmail.com   for dog/puppies at the adoption center.
