Story
Hey there! I'm Darby. I bet you can't guess what kind of dog I am... go ahead and give it a try.... I am 4 a year old female English Bulldog/ Poodle! I came to Zoe's House from a commercial breeder where I was bred for my puppies. This was my whole life. I was a very scared when I came to my foster home. I wasn't used to kindness but the lady there was so nice and nurturing that I started coming out of my shell. I have come to enjoy being petted and am excited when the lady comes home. I wag my tail and wiggle until she comes over and pets me. I even give her kisses. I am looking for my forever home. I sleep in my crate. I know to go to it for dinner time and bedtime. I'm doing good with housebreaking. I sometimes have an accident but I am working hard on this. I need someone who will be patient with me as I continue to grow and overcome my past. I don't play much but like laying on the sofa. I get along with the other dogs in my foster and I am learning from them that life can be good. I am up to date on vaccines and spayed already. I am crate trained and don't have accidents in my crate. I I require a home with another calm dog please. I am not sure about young kids. I don't like loud noise or sudden movements because they startle me and make me scared. Older kids 13 and older who can respect that I need patience would be really good for me. A small fenced yard is best since I don't walk on a leash yet. I'm being fostered in Schuylkill County so any potential adopters will have to travel to meet him. If you think that you can give Darby the love and patience that she needs to continue growing, please apply at https://www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt. Zoe's House Kennel #9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
Meet Natasha, a beautiful 5-year-old merle miniature poodle with a shy but sweet personality. Surrendered by a commercial breeder, Natasha-affectionately called "Tasha" by her foster mom-spends a lot of time sitting quietly with her person. Though she is still wary of people and needs time to warm up, her gentle nature shines through once she feels safe. Natasha does have a bit of separation anxiety, not when her person leaves, but when they are in the house and she can't see them. You will never again go to the bathroom alone! Natasha enjoys the company of her foster dog siblings but would thrive either as the only dog or with one other calm canine companion to help her continue to learn how to be a dog. She's potty trained, responds well when called, and enjoys running in a fenced yard. Remember, regression is common in breeder dogs until they get comfortable in their surroundings. Tasha has been spayed, had a dental cleaning, and is up to date on her vaccines. If you have the patience and love to give this gentle girl the time she needs to trust, Natasha will be a loyal and loving companion. Kennel 9117 Sinking Spring, PA

Story
"Hey there, I'm Bonita! My name means beautiful, and I am! I am just the cutest little mixed breed - maybe a terrier/poodle mix, with the sweetest temperament to go with my pretty face! I'm about 2-3 years old and about 12 pounds. I love to go for walks and I have good leash manners. I am all about my people - no such thing as a stranger, everyone is my new friend! I enjoy sitting on my foster mom's lap and watching the world go by on the front porch, lounging on the sofa, and playing with my foster siblings! I am used to other dogs and I'm learning about cats. I would be happy in a human only family, or a mixed species family. Even though I am pint sized, I have a big personality! I am silly and happy, love car rides, and love to play! I am a social butterfly, and I am hopeful to find a forever home where I can get lots of love and attention. I am crate trained, but it is not my favorite thing. When my foster family leaves, I will bark and fuss for a few minutes. Once I know they have left, I am completely fine and I will settle in for a nap. I do best when I have had playtime or a walk prior to being crated. I would consider myself housebroken, but accidents are normal when a dog is learning a new routine in a new home. I love everyone and I'm excited to meet my forever family!!" Bonita is spayed, up to date on shots, tested negative for heartworm, up to date on monthly parasite preventatives, and recently had a dental cleaning. Bonita is being fostered in Southern Lancaster County and interested adopters must come to her foster home twice. The first visit is a meet and greet with all the members of the household including existing dogs in the home. The second visit is to take her home. Go online to www.zoeshouserescue.com and complete an adoption application! We do not always receive applications submitted through adoptapet or petfinder. Story
Meet Mae: Your Future Couch Cuddler and Backyard Explorer! Age: 4 years Breed: Mini-Bernedoodle Special Skills: Expert snuggler, fastest wagging tail, and occasional backyard zoomie champion! House trained, UTD on all vaccines, and spayed. Mae is a sweet girl with a heart full of love and a little bit of nervousness around strangers (especially men). Surrendered by a commercial breeder, she's still learning the ropes of life, but is thriving in her foster home learning what it feels like to be loved. She adores her foster parents and her doggie brother, but she needs a little time to warm up to new faces (people and dogs alike). Mae's ideal day? A leisurely stroll around the block (where she shows off her impeccable leash manners), a bit of backyard frolicking in a fenced in yard, and then curling up on the couch for some quality snuggle time. She's a low-key lady who enjoys the simpler things in life-like a delicious scrambled egg or a Starbucks pup cup. Mae would do best in a quieter home where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. She's great with kids, but if your house is full of lively chaos, she might not be the pup for you. If you're looking for a furry friend who will shower you with affection, be your shadow, and keep you entertained with her adorable quirks, Mae is your girl! Mae is currently being fostered in Montgomery County. Interested adopters must come visit Mae at her foster home twice. The first visit will be a meet and greet with all members of the household, including dogs. The second visit will be to take her home. www.zoeshouserescue.com Po box 2372 Reading pa 19608 Kennel license 9117
