Story
We have a transport set up to NorCal and OR leaving here from SoCal on 9/7/24 and we would love to add Jasper to our trip for the right family!
Meet Jasper! He is a 3 year old Maltipoo. Yes, he is hypoallergenic and does not shed. He has a very beautiful soft coat 💙 He is a great size, and while he only weighs right under 12 lbs, he is taller and more "Poodle like" in body type for sure. He is a very "sturdy" size 😊
He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, had a wonderful overall exam with our vet, and has
offically been cleared to find a home all his own.
He is house trained, and goes in and out as he asks to. He is very communicative and will tell you when he needs to go outside. Training has come along nicely, because of how he has learned to "ask" for things such as to be let out of the crate, or if he can have a treat (he LOVES treats 🙃.)
He is crate trained, and while it isn't his fave place, he understands it's purpose in our home. He currently sleeps in it at night, or to nap in during the day. He knows he gets to enjoy time out of the crate, and really loves being in the home where his humans are.
He is leash trained as well, and has done very well on his walks when able to have them (weather pending.) If the weather is cooler where his new home will be, he will be very happy to stroll around the neighborhood/town again.
He loves car rides, and is always looking out the window. I recommend a booster car seat for him to travel in, so he can securely and comfortably sit/lay by the window perched up high enough to see out as you are traveling. He really enjoys the scenery.
He is not a barker, but will communicate when he needs something. (Just a reminder ☺️) He is a very smart boy, and has learned that it's faster if he learned to get our attention in a way we understood, so if you are looking for a smart, and handsome boy he will have no problem filling that role!
He is great with other animals, and is always ready to make a friend. He interacts beautifully with everyone he meets. (Men, women, and children alike 💙.)
He is as sweet as they come, and will add a lot of love, joy, and laughter to your home. He is NOT high energy at all, but can definitely keep up with a good walk! He is very well behaved in the home. Loves to Lou ge near by when out of the crate. He will go outside to potty, but unless you are outside with him, he won't stay there long. He is definitely most happy where his family is. He doesn't ask for much to keep his heart happy, so if you are looking for a sweet and loyal friend, Jasper is definitely your guy 😊
Adoption fee is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org under his adoption listing. It cover his neuter, vaccines, microchip/registration, his back feet dewclaw removal he had done which required additional anesthesia time along with antibiotics to go home to aid in his healing from both neuter and dewclaw removal, his exam with our vet, overall time, care, grooming, and training since with us 💙
