Breed: Miniature Poodle Foster Home Location: OTTAWA, ON Adoption Fee:  $750.00 Temperament: Very sweet, still shy while getting comfortable with new things Activity/Energy Level: Moderate Up to date on Shots: Yes, plus dental done Housebroken: Yes (can have the occasional accident) Crate Trained: Yes Ok with Dogs:  Yes Ok with Cats:  Unknown, hasn’t been tested Ok with Kids:  Adult only home (due to her shyness) Origin: Mill release Requirements:  Securely fenced yard, and a well-balanced companion dog, adult only home with previous dog experience UPDATE- September 17– I love going for walks and meeting other dogs along my way.  I walk with a very proud little prance you would think I own the world.  I have learned how to play with dogs, the other foster dog that I live with (Foxy) has taught me all about play.  I’m hoping that someone out there is looking for a small poodle who looks forward to new adventures every day. About Chelsea: Hey to all those poodle lovers out there, Chelsea here! I’m a very sweet girl, who has experienced a tough past life but let’s not dwell on my past too much because I’m really looking forward to my future of being in a very loving home.  I’m very proud on how many things I have already accomplished, I’m quite an eager learner.  I have mastered the stairs; I love joining you out for a walk; I even sit to get my harness on and off; I use pee pads but I also go to the washroom in the backyard; and on the last note I love sleeping on dog beds.  I’m always ready to go whenever you are, I take this responsibility to be your companion very seriously; I will accompany you wherever you go in the house, always waiting for your next move.  I’m very interested when you are in the kitchen, whether you are cooking or getting my food ready, I will sit and watch you very patiently hoping you will give me a treat. Because of my past, I’m shy when I meet new people.  Having a well balanced companion dog in my new home will help me to be more comfortable in approaching new people and situations.  I trust they will show me how great people really are.  Maybe my new companion would love to play with me too! My inner soul has been waiting awhile to be able to enjoy a lavish lifestyle  (it will be like winning the lottery for me), could it be with you? Questions? Story
Hi there! My name is Hare, and I’m excited to share my story with you. While I’m not exactly sure when I was born, people think I might have come into this world around 2017. My life took a significant turn in 2024 when I was rescued from an unlicensed breeding facility in Boryeong. Since then, I’ve been on a heartfelt journey to find my forever home, and I’d love to tell you a bit about myself. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but I have a soft spot for treats! If you offer me a tasty snack, I’ll warm up quickly and enjoy being petted. Though I haven’t met many children under 13, I promise to be gentle and kind. You can even rub my belly and lift me up for some cozy cuddles! I absolutely love going for walks and have learned to walk calmly on a leash, staying right by your side. After our outdoor adventures, there’s nothing I enjoy more than curling up on the couch and relaxing together. When it comes to my dog friends, I like to say hello but prefer to keep my distance—I’m not much of a player and like to avoid any drama. To be honest, not many dogs catch my attention, and I’ve never encountered a cat before, so I’m curious but unsure of how I’d react. Sometimes, I can feel a little anxious when left alone, so I might let you know if I’m missing you. I’m working on building my confidence and learning that it’s okay to be independent. I may also speak up when I want something from you—after all, communication is key! I’m fully trained to use indoor pads and enjoy outdoor bathroom breaks. I absolutely love food, so it’s best to be cautious when feeding me. I tend to be more attached to humans than other dogs, and I calm down wonderfully when I’m with you. I truly thrive on human companionship, and I know I’ll be happiest by your side. If you’re looking for a loving, gentle friend to share your life with, I hope you’ll consider bringing me into your home. I can’t wait to show you just how sweet I can be!
