Story
Meet Salle! Salle is a 2-3-year-old, approximately 20 lb sweetheart who just arrived from Mexico. Her story is heartbreaking but filled with hope: she was found on the streets in rough condition alongside two other dogs who seem to be her relatives. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Mexico took them in and gave them the care and love they needed to recover. Now fully vetted and ready for her forever home, Salle has quickly shown her foster family how much she adores affection—both giving and receiving! She thrives on attention and being around others, so we believe her ideal home would include another dog companion and a fenced-in yard where she can explore and play. Salle is still learning how to walk on a leash, but bring a pocketful of treats, and she'll eagerly work to improve her skills. She will need some ongoing training. She’s proven to be low-shedding, with no evidence of fur left behind on furniture or clothing. While her exact mix is a mystery, we think she might be part poodle and 100% sweetness. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, loyal companion, and your new best friend, Salle might be the perfect match for you. Fill out an application today! Applications will be reviewed after Nov. 26 ••••••••• As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca. Just Paws is located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. We do not adopt out of province or country. Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.

Breed: Miniature Poodle Foster Home Location: OTTAWA, ON Adoption Fee:  $750.00 Temperament: Very sweet, still shy while getting comfortable with new things Activity/Energy Level: Moderate Up to date on Shots: Yes, plus dental done Housebroken: Yes (can have the occasional accident) Crate Trained: Yes Ok with Dogs:  Yes Ok with Cats:  Unknown, hasn’t been tested Ok with Kids:  Adult only home (due to her shyness) Origin: Mill release Requirements:  Securely fenced yard, and a well-balanced companion dog, adult only home with previous dog experience UPDATE- September 17– I love going for walks and meeting other dogs along my way.  I walk with a very proud little prance you would think I own the world.  I have learned how to play with dogs, the other foster dog that I live with (Foxy) has taught me all about play.  I’m hoping that someone out there is looking for a small poodle who looks forward to new adventures every day. About Chelsea: Hey to all those poodle lovers out there, Chelsea here! I’m a very sweet girl, who has experienced a tough past life but let’s not dwell on my past too much because I’m really looking forward to my future of being in a very loving home.  I’m very proud on how many things I have already accomplished, I’m quite an eager learner.  I have mastered the stairs; I love joining you out for a walk; I even sit to get my harness on and off; I use pee pads but I also go to the washroom in the backyard; and on the last note I love sleeping on dog beds.  I’m always ready to go whenever you are, I take this responsibility to be your companion very seriously; I will accompany you wherever you go in the house, always waiting for your next move.  I’m very interested when you are in the kitchen, whether you are cooking or getting my food ready, I will sit and watch you very patiently hoping you will give me a treat. Because of my past, I’m shy when I meet new people.  Having a well balanced companion dog in my new home will help me to be more comfortable in approaching new people and situations.  I trust they will show me how great people really are.  Maybe my new companion would love to play with me too! My inner soul has been waiting awhile to be able to enjoy a lavish lifestyle  (it will be like winning the lottery for me), could it be with you? Questions? Ok with Kids: Yes, 8 yrs old Requirements: Minimum alone time. secure fully fenced yard and a companion dog, no kids under 8   Meet Leo – The Sweet Poodle Ready for His Forever Home! Leo is an adorable poodle with a gentle heart and a sweet, shy nature that quickly blossoms into warm affection. Though a little reserved at first, he loves being near his people, keeping an eye on what you’re up to, and showing his love with cuddles and tail wags. Leo also has a playful side. He enjoys his toys and lights up at the sight of his leash, eagerly wagging his tail in anticipation of a walk. Leo’s foster mom, Cathy, describes him as “an amazing little guy and a joy to foster.” He’s the perfect balance of affectionate and curious, always nearby and ready for a cuddle or a back scratch. Leo enjoys sleeping on the bed with his foster family and their dogs, and he’s doing great with potty training; almost 100%! He loves spending time in the backyard, especially if you’re out there with him, and gets along wonderfully with his foster fur siblings, Mandy and Kringle. Leo’s friendly nature shines through on his walks; he’s happy to observe people passing by, and he usually ends up with some friendly ear scratches and compliments from new friends along the way. Leo is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy his favorite things: being close to you, having a few fur friends, and getting lots of cuddles and companionship. Story
Hi there! My name is Hare, and I’m excited to share my story with you. While I’m not exactly sure when I was born, people think I might have come into this world around 2017. My life took a significant turn in 2024 when I was rescued from an unlicensed breeding facility in Boryeong. Since then, I’ve been on a heartfelt journey to find my forever home, and I’d love to tell you a bit about myself. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but I have a soft spot for treats! If you offer me a tasty snack, I’ll warm up quickly and enjoy being petted. Though I haven’t met many children under 13, I promise to be gentle and kind. You can even rub my belly and lift me up for some cozy cuddles! I absolutely love going for walks and have learned to walk calmly on a leash, staying right by your side. After our outdoor adventures, there’s nothing I enjoy more than curling up on the couch and relaxing together. When it comes to my dog friends, I like to say hello but prefer to keep my distance—I’m not much of a player and like to avoid any drama. To be honest, not many dogs catch my attention, and I’ve never encountered a cat before, so I’m curious but unsure of how I’d react. Sometimes, I can feel a little anxious when left alone, so I might let you know if I’m missing you. I’m working on building my confidence and learning that it’s okay to be independent. I may also speak up when I want something from you—after all, communication is key! I’m fully trained to use indoor pads and enjoy outdoor bathroom breaks. I absolutely love food, so it’s best to be cautious when feeding me. I tend to be more attached to humans than other dogs, and I calm down wonderfully when I’m with you. I truly thrive on human companionship, and I know I’ll be happiest by your side. If you’re looking for a loving, gentle friend to share your life with, I hope you’ll consider bringing me into your home. I can’t wait to show you just how sweet I can be!
