Coco is 10ish year old female She is currently having issues with urinary crystals (frequent urination) and is transitioning to a prescription food Hills science C/D She was tested for a UTI in the fall and that’s when they told us it was crystals , so she is also wearing diapers on occasion because of accidents She really needs someone that has time, patience and is home most of the time We are looking for someone loving, caring and patient!

Meet Betty of the Flintstones family!Betty is a 6 year old cream/off-white miniature poodle who weighs 9-10 lbs. Little Betty came to Canine Collective from an Amish puppy mill with 3 other littles named Betty, Fred, and Barney. First order of business was a major grooming job. Due to embedded mats, much of betty's fur had to be shaved, but she still has her fluffy ears! Ahhh what a relief. Betty is in a loving foster home with her friend Wilma, a shih tzu. Betty is the confident one of the pair and she enjoys teaching Wilma how to play. She approaches her foster mom for pets when mom lays on the floor and just loves the attention. Betty attended a pet store event with wilma and other dogs and was very impressive! She was relaxed sitting in her handler's lap and greeted people appropriately. Potty training outdoors is a work in progress but she learning to use puppy pads. If you're interested in Betty (or any of the other Flintstones), apply asap at www.caninecollective.org.

Meet Barney of the Flintstones family!Barney is light brown miniature poodle who weighs 9-10 lbs. Our best guess of his age is 7-8 years old. Barney came to Canine Collective from an Amish puppy mill along with 3 other small dogs, appropriately named Fred, Betty and Wilma. First order of business was a major grooming job due to embedded mats and very lengthy hair. He likely was never groomed in his life. Just look at the 'before' pics! Much of Barney's fur had to be shaved, but the groomer kept his fluffy ears! He was a trooper and although not thrilled, he cooperated and was not aggressive at all. He is great with other dogs and shy but comfortable around all people. He has been to an event and did a great job with the volunteers! He also had a special valentine photo shoot and really perked up when joined by the other small dogs. He was great with a volunteers respectful small child too. Uno would do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog due to his energy and love of claiming his toys. He is missing an eye because he got into an altercation with a big dog that didn't like his attitude! He is crate trained and potties outside, but he does mark in the house with other males dogs present. he wears a belly band with no issues. Leash skills have improved and we just step away from dogs on the walk and redirect him. He could be leashed walked and be an only dog. He can coexist with other dogs with management of toys. He eats in his crate. If you have a fence with dogs on the other side, will take him awhile to get used to them without acting a fool. He is a fantastic companion in the right home. He is loving and loves affections. His behaviors of wanting to be King can be managed by experience pet owner. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Lloyd is approx 2-3 years old and 15 lbs. He was found as a stray and pulled from Grant County. He is very smart and has learned commands. He is active and requires long walks or a fenced yard. Meet Pip! Pip is a 5-month-old, 5lb miniature poodle puppy with the best eyebrows on the block! He loves to be around other people and is a little love bug. Pip loves to play with other little dogs and can romp with the best of them! He loves a good cuddle and will curl up on your lap for a little nap. Pip is not house trained and is still discovering what it means to be a dog, but his foster family believes he has great potential once he overcomes his fears. He is so gentle and loving and would make the perfect family pet! His size makes him easy to travel with as well! If you are looking for an adorable sidekick, Pip is your dude!
