Story
Meet Palmer. She is great with dogs and cats, but is still rather shy around people; she was a puppy mill puppy and is going to require some extra patience to earn your trust. She is crate and potty trained. Palmer is not a fan of the leash, so a fenced yard would be best for her.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   February 24, 2025, 1:34 pm

Story
Uno would do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog due to his energy and love of claiming his toys. He is missing an eye because he got into an altercation with a big dog that didn't like his attitude! He is crate trained and potties outside, but he does mark in the house with other males dogs present. he wears a belly band with no issues. Leash skills have improved and we just step away from dogs on the walk and redirect him. He could be leashed walked and be an only dog. He can coexist with other dogs with management of toys. He eats in his crate. If you have a fence with dogs on the other side, will take him awhile to get used to them without acting a fool. He is a fantastic companion in the right home. He is loving and loves affections. His behaviors of wanting to be King can be managed by experience pet owner. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Story
Poppy is a 4-year-old, 9-pound female poodle, with the most beautiful soft curly coat, who has had a tough start in life—but her story is taking a turn for the better. Right now, Poppy finds the most comfort in her cozy bed, preferring to observe the world from a safe distance. She loves taking in her surroundings, whether nestled in my arms by the window or curled up on my lap watching TV. Due to her cautious nature, she hasn’t yet walked on a leash or started potty training. But like most poodles, she’s incredibly smart, and I have no doubt she’ll pick things up quickly once she’s ready. I can see she’s eager to leave the past behind and fully embrace life. She longs to greet me with tail wags and happy smiles like my own dog does. She gets close, wags her tail, and then scurries back to her security blankets—almost as if she’s gathering the courage to take that next step. This little girl is overflowing with love, just waiting for the right person to help her shine. If you have the time, patience, and love to give, consider being a part of Poppy’s new journey. She’s so ready to find her forever home. Poppy is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Flurry - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Flurry (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I was pretty scared at first at my foster home but it didn't take very long at all to come around and show my true loving, sweet and playful nature so I'm now ready to start on this new chapter of my life with lots of hugs, puppy kisses and playtime with my new family!!! I'm probably around 6 months old and I come in at about 15lbs. I'm not big enough to be a snowflake, I'm just a wittle flurry but I do love playing and am energetic, ready to share in all your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting!! I'm good with people, other pups and even the resident kitty. I am working on my house training and do really well with knowing to go outside to potty with only an occasional accident. I've got a beautiful coat that is super easy in the maintenance department, kind of a wash-n-go type of fella. You do know what that means, don't ya? Yep yep, more time for the spoil me rotten department!! I am sooooo ready to find me a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet or preferably on your lap, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for your home, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This resilient poodle born around 10/2/2017 has been through a lot but is now ready for a loving home. Found on the streets with one of the worst cases of matting we’ve ever seen, his hair was so long it touched the ground. Sadly, neighborhood kids threw rocks at him as he ran through the streets, terrified and alone. It took an experienced trapper to safely bring him to our facility, where he arrived shaking and too scared to be touched by anyone. However, with time, patience, and care, he has blossomed into a wonderful companion. He now enjoys daily walks, loves being pet, gets the excitement zoomies, and gets along well with other dogs. He is a laid-back boy who especially gets excited for his leash time, happily joining other dogs on walks. Due to his past, he will need a home to give him patience to gain his trust. Once he has your trust, he will be your shadow and want nothing but love. He seems to be potty/house trained, as he will wait to use the bathroom when he gets walked. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, this sweet poodle is ready to find his forever home. His adoption fee is $300. Marley weighs around 20 pounds.   Could you be the one to give him the love he deserves?  Marley is currently in Texas, but transport is available to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or anywhere along the East Coast. Please note that an additional transport fee of $225 applies. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 1, 2025, 1:17 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Randy, a charming Bichon/Poodle mix who came to us as a stray during the Christmas holidays, searching for love and safety. Now ready to find his forever home, Randy is a sweet and affectionate pup who thrives on companionship. He would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he has minor separation anxiety and loves being close to his people. He will be your shadow.  Randy gets along with other dogs and greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and a joyful spirit. He seems to be house-trained but, like most dogs in a new environment, may have a few accidents until he gets the hang of his new routine. Randy’s adoption fee is $300, which includes his neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test (negative), ProHeart prevention, and Bravecto. He’s currently located in Texas but is eligible for transport to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), or anywhere along the East Coast. Please note there is an additional transport fee of $225, and we cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
