Story
Blue is a 13-year-old, 12lb black/grey Miniature Poodle. Blue might be an older pup but that doesn't stop him from being the ultimate love bug. Due to him being older, Blue does have cataracts and vision problems, so he will need someone patient who can help guide him. He does wear a belly band to minimize any marking but doesn't mind wearing them to keep your house clean! Blue is leash trained and doesn't really like the crate, but he will go in it, he just prefers to be on his person's lap! He loves treats and affection. If you think you can give Blue a happy home for the rest of his life, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Riley is a 14-year-old, 7 lb. Miniature Poodle. Riley is just about the sweetest dog you will ever meet! She can sometimes be mistaken for a stuffed animal because she is such a soft little fluffball. She is incredibly sweet and gentle with everyone and all she wants in life is to snuggle on your lap and be close to you. She would be an ideal pet for an older, calmer couple or person and would do best with someone who is home more often. She does love cuddling up to her foster dog siblings and prefers being around smaller dogs because they are less scary than the big ones to her. She is 100% potty-trained and only likes to go outside to do her business and then come right back in and find a warm spot on the couch. She also knows how to use potty pads too! She loves to help the kids in her foster home with their homework by keeping them company (check out her pictures for evidence!) She will watch over them and make sure they get all their work done too! When she wants your attention, she is oh so polite about it and will gently paw you until you give her some pets. Riley can't wait to settle down in her forever home and live out her golden years with a loving family! Riley does have cataracts in her right eye, but this does not seem to bother her. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. He loves being around his family and is very sweet and gentle. This "snuggle bug" and loves being held and cuddled. Story
Destiny is a 1.5 year old, 19 lb. Poodle mix. After living the majority of her short life outside, Destiny is learning just how wonderful all the comforts of the indoor can be! She absolutely loves attention and being held by her foster family, cuddling with soft, fluffy blankets, and having a warm and safe place to sleep. Since she is still a puppy, Destiny is very playful and active! She is still in training and doing well with learning the ropes. She will need a family who can help her feel secure, master her potty-training and crate-training, and make her feel a part of a loving family. This cutie pie is so deserving, and she will reward you with all her love and cute playful antics! She gets along with other dogs as long as there are proper introductions and would love a buddy to play with. She loves everyone she meets, and when you meet her, we promise you will fall in love too! Apply to meet Destiny today! Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. Story
Fozzie is an 8 month old, 8 lb. Poodle/Maltese mix. Sweet, little Fozzie is one of the cutest little boys around! He will surely melt your heart with all his cuddles and happy antics. He is a little timid and shy at first, but with a little patience and love, he warms right up. He has really blossomed in his foster home and has made fast friends with his fur-siblings. He loves playing with them in the back yard and when all his energy is out, he happily cuddles up for an afternoon snooze with either his foster mom or doggie friends. He would love to find a forever home full of soft blankets, plush couches, and someone ready to hold him and give him lots of pets! He does get a little sad when his foster mom leaves the house, but when she comes home, he is all smiles and tail wags! Fozzie is learning all about exciting new things like taking walks around his neighborhood on a leash (and getting used to being on a leash for the first time), playing with toys, and learning his meal-time manners! For now, since Fozzie loves his food (and his foster siblings' food) so much, his foster mom feeds him separately. Fozzie is crate-trained and does well in his crate when his foster mom is out of the house. He is almost totally potty-trained too and is learning to use a pee-pad! Fozzie has lived with dogs and cats in the past, so he would be a great friend to both. He is so excited to meet his forever family - if that could be you, apply to meet this sweet fluffball today!
