Story
Contact my foster at, gorr2023@gmail.comSherman is 10 years young. He is fully house trained, house respectful and an overall great, easy dog. He sleeps independently, doesn`t jump on furniture, asks for affection and loves getting a carrot or two after potty time. He is working on his excitement level when he sees people on his walks, but so far is people friendly, dog friendly with proper intros and cat neutral. He only barks out of excitement, he has a beagle voice and a poodle body. He will need to be groomed regularly. Sherman can walk 1-2 miles a day without any issues (besides the barking at people), we are training him with positive reinforcement when he doesn`t bark, it will be a process but he is very smart and funny and will catch on.

Story
Meet Jack@! Age: approx 10+ years old. Some of his paperwork says 10, 13, and 16. We honestly don't know. He is a senior, he is fairly active for his age and gets around well despite his sight issues. Breed: toy poodle, unknown if mixed. Size: est 7lbs, needs to gain a few pounds. Training: crate and leash trained, working on house training and doing well. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with men/women/kids? Yes, he gets along with any and every one he meets. Personality: a little shy initially but once he learns his surroundings, he is very affectionate and friendly. He is mostly blind but gets around very well. Our vet was surprised at how well he navigates a new room. He still has some spunk despite his age. He is curious and loves to sniff around the yard. He is very food motivated. Reason for rescue: seized by animal control, hoarding case. Jack is neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. He is missing most of his teeth so he eats soft food. If you are interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application. Adoption fee: waived, however it must still be a great match for both Jack & his new family.&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143October 4, 2024, 8:36 am

Story
***Please Note: Another dog and a fenced in yard is required*** Meet Callahan! Breed: mini goldendoodle. Age: est 1 year, approx birthdate July 2023. Weight: 30lbs. Training: crate trained, we are working on house and leash training. He will need continued training as he hasn't had many life experiences. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes, LOVES other dogs. In fact, we think he'd do best with another dog to teach him the ropes. Good with adults/kids? Yes, shy at first but he warms up to be sweet, loyal, and playful. Personality: submissive/shy, once he warms up he is affectionate and playful. Reason for rescue: breeder release, retiring. Callahan adores other dogs and we feel he would do best with another confident, friendly dog to show him the ropes! He has so much potential. He is looking for someone to give his heart to. He MUST go to a home with a fence and/or another dog. Callahan is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Callahan has a history of seizures (2) and currently takes Keppra daily. Our vet believes he has epilepsy that is triggered by stress. His medication is approximately $30/month, and he will be sent home with a couple of months worth of medication. Our vet believes he may eventually be able to wean off of medications, once he has transitioned to his new life & has gained confidence, so that new situations aren't so stressful for him. If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $175.October 4, 2024, 8:36 am
