Story
Pebbles is a darling 4 year old, 27lb mixed breed. She was rescued from euthanasia for space at an overcrowded county shelter and is looking for her forever home! Pebbles is great in the home. 100% house trained and very good about doing her business in the yard or on walks. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly all night. She is attached to her person and will follow you everywhere if you let her! She is a 10/10 couch snuggler and gives great kisses.Pebbles has a low/medium energy level and is very social. She has met children or various ages in public and does fine with them. She was recently boarded at a doggy daycare and enjoyed getting to play with the other dogs, but can get excited and bark at them when she sees other dogs out in public. She has been introduced to a gentle leader and is doing well, she just needs a little bit more work on her leash skills when she sees other dogs. She has also met a cat and was respectful.Pebbles has a history of small seizures where she gets unstable on her feet. She is completely coherent during them. This happens roughly once a month and she is in the process of getting medicated for this (as of 10.7.24).*********************************Pebbles is located in a foster home. We are happy to coordinate a meet & greet for pre-approved adopters. To get started, please submit an adoption application at https://bit.ly/USAHOTNADOPT2024Adoption process:Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved.From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption.Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption. ##2202898##

Story
Meet Frederick!  This fragile little guy came from the Tangled 10 crew. He was 8.60 pounds before we cut all the mats off of him. Cutting away the filth revealed a partially missing hind left foot in addition to every rib and vertebrae showing. He is blind in his left eye and has cataracts in the other. Even with all of these challenges, once he started getting fed regularly his strength increased and his personality started to surface. The kid can move pretty well on that one lame hind foot. He is absolutely an indoor dog! He HATES being crated but will go in for food. As soon as he's done he barks his demand to be let out IMMEDIATELY.   He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Frederick is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT FREDERICK!! www.LuckyPupRescueSC.com The adoption fee is $300.00 and we require a vet check and home visit.   November 5, 2024, 4:05 pm
