Story
Smooch is a 1 year old 13 pound Cavapoo. She is a busy girl who will fetch your slippers for you, she won't necessarily bring them back to you, but she won't chew them either, she kind of just likes to move them around and cuddle with them. She can be a little shy till she gets to know you but loves to cuddle in bed once she does. She has super curly fur and feels like a chenille rug when you pet her. I think she got more of the Poodle genes than the Cavalier genes. She loves to play with toys and the other dogs here, and loves to be outside with you in any weather, rain doesn't even slow this girl down. She is very smart and food motivated. I'm sure a family with extra time could teach her lots of tricks. She has taught herself to open a crate from the outside if she sees a piece of food in there!!! She does not like to be crated and she needs a fenced in yard. Her adoption fee is $350 and that includes her spay and microchip. Please go to www.susieqdogresq.com and fill out an application if you are interested in meeting her.

Story
Mindi (Baby Girl) is a 3 yo, 10 lb poodle mix from Ohio. She was used as a breeder and received very little socialization, as  a puppy. This little peanut was missing quite a bit of hair when she arrived. With good nutrition and preventatives, her coat has shown a great improvement. Baby Girl is slowly coming out of her shell. She is not keen on cuddling yet, but LOVES: socializing with the foster's small dogs, going for walks and playing with her "dollies". She is not a fan of small children. Baby Girl was struggling with house training until it was found she had bladder stones, during her spay surgery. Because of this, she needs a special kibble, which she finds tasty. Since her surgery, she is finally progressing with pottying outside and has no accidents for about 10 days. She sleeps in her crate at night, but is uncrated during the day and needs to go outside frequently. She has good house manners and is well behaved when free. Her ideal home needs at least one other dog, no small children, someone who is home a lot. Also, A PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD. Baby Girl's adoption fee is $400, which covers all of her vetting, microchip and costs associated with fostering. ##2105405##

Adoption Application: https://www.cognitoforms.com/New2URescues/AdoptionApplication ********If dog/pup is showing as available it is available. Please do not email asking if it is. Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet puppy mill survivor, Kaylee. Kaylee is approximately 3 years old, and is timid upon first meeting her. Once you gain her trust, her beautiful personality begins to shine. She is grateful for her new-found freedom, and equally loves playing and cuddling. She LOVES toys, and loves carrying them around with her wherever she goes. Another favorite of hers is treats- she is very motivated by them! Kaylee is still learning how to really be a dog, so we'd also prefer she has a companion dog who she can play with and learn from. She is house trained, and will let you know when she needs to potty. This retired mama has a lot of energy, and we require a fenced-in yard for her to get all of that energy out safely! Kaylee is not currently leash-trained, but could certainly learn! She really loves a good car ride, and is an excellent co-pilot. Since she came from a puppy mill, we would love for her to be in a home that does not require her to be crated. She loves sleeping in bed with her foster mom, and sleeps wonderfully through the night now that she feels safe. The poodle in her gives her some very springy legs which she loves to jump with, so a home with older children would be better. Kaylee needs a very patient family to help her continue to learn and blossom. Her life before her freedom wasn't very kind to her, so if you think you would be able to give her the best life please apply. Adoption Application: https://www.cognitoforms.com/New2URescues/AdoptionApplication ********If dog/pup is showing as available it is available. Please do not email asking if it is. Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet puppy mill survivor, Cassie Blue! Cassie's life before freedom was very difficult, and not kind to her. This has made her be a very fearful dog who requires a very patient, loving, and kind adopter who understands the needs of a very scared puppy mill dog and how to help her reach her full potential. Cassie does not adapt well to change, and will become fearful- this runs deep in her so even changing clothes makes her worry at first. This is where patience and understanding is pivotal for her new home. Cassie has incredibly beautiful ice-blue eyes, and she loves other dogs. She finds difficulty with trusting humans because of what she has been through. Cassie requires a home that has a secure fenced in yard to help protect her and keep her safe. She loves to play with other dogs, and also has learned to love toys. Cassie is fearful of a leash, but her foster mom is working on this with her. Given that Cassie had a lot to endure when she was trapped in a puppy mill, we prefer she is not crated. She sleeps wonderfully in bed with her foster mom each night, and needs the freedom to find herself and determine what she needs. Do you have a quiet home, with another dog (preferred) who has time, love, energy, patience, and understanding to give to a dog who never knew love in her life before she was rescued? Please consider Cassie. Her foster mom is ready, willing, and able to work with any adopter to help set everyone up for success. Adoption Application: https://www.cognitoforms.com/New2URescues/AdoptionApplication ********If dog/pup is showing as available it is available. Please do not email asking if it is. Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Winnie! This little sweetheart is a retired puppy mill mama that is learning how to love life. Please note that since she has come from a mill, we require her adopters to have a fenced in yard. It only took two weeks with her foster mom to become her shadow as she has learned that not all humans are bad. Her foster mom jokes that if you're looking for privacy, Winnie won't be the girl for you. She loves attention, and especially getting scratchies! It doesn't take long for her to warm up to people, which is amazing to see. Winnie has been doing great with potty training so far. She is a huge fan of food, so this is great motivation for her to work on training. Winnie has revealed an exceptional trick which is walking on her two hind legs! Are you looking for a sweet girl who will instantly warm your heart? Winnie could be a great dog for you! Don't wait- apply today!
