Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This guy has been returned to our organization by no fault of his own.  His adopter had to move to an assistant living facility and TITO was not able to relocate with her. Meet TITO, he is a funny and playful 4 year old poodle who weighs 10 pounds and will not get any bigger unless you are guilty of feeding your dog table food!  TITO came to us horrible matted and rescued from the streets of San Antonio, TX in bad shape.  He was so happy to land on a soft bed and was very hungry.  I tried to cut his hair and mats off of him but he could use a really good grooming so you can see what a handsome boy he is. TITO has a playful and easy to lucky personality.  There are no cats in the home so we do not know how he would get along with them. TITO has settled in very well with the other dogs in the foster home.  He plays with big and small but he especially likes hanging around his foster mom, following her from room to room and cuddling with her.  Her gets under her foot when her legs are crossed to scratch his back.  He rubs himself back and forth until she picks him up and gives him a good rubdown, then he is happy. TITO is house-trained, crate-trained and can be left alone in the home without getting in to anything.  He walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. If you are interested in adopting TITO, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         April 4, 2026, 9:53 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This playful little guy is NICO, 2 years old and 15 pound and fully grown, will not get any bigger.  NICO was owner surrendered because a new baby entered the home.  He was good with the baby but the family felt they did not have time for NICO any longer. NICO is fully house/crate/potty trained and will go to the door and whine to be let out to potty.  He loves to play with the dogs and having a blast as he was the only dog in his previous home.  He especially loves the girls!!  I do not have any cats so not sure how he would get along with them. Of course he would need to be groomed every 2 months.  NICO is happy and a bit active and excited to have other dogs to play with.  At first he was a bit timid but he came out of that after about 3 days.  He would love to go on walks. The pictures are not the greatest but he is a cutie pie. If you are interested in adopting NICO, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Allie! Allie is a beautiful 3.5&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old Mini Goldendoodle weighing 18 pounds, and she’s ready to find her forever home. Her journey with PMR began after she was injured in a dog fight and needed veterinary care, including stitches. As she healed, we discovered a surprise — Allie was pregnant! She went on to become a wonderful, devoted mama to two puppies, and now that her mom duties are complete, it’s finally Allie’s turn to be someone’s cherished companion. Allie is a sweet, gentle girl who does best in a calm, loving home. She gets along very well with other dogs and would truly thrive with a canine companion to help her learn, play, and build confidence. She is crate trained and enjoys cozy spaces, happily sharing a crate with another dog. While she is not leash trained, she will require a fully fenced yard (no invisible fencing) so she can safely enjoy time outside — which she loves! Allie is smart and food&#226&#128&#145motivated, making training a positive experience. She enjoys toys and chewies and has been doing well with house training; potty pads were used during her pregnancy, and she now prefers going outside. As with any transition, a few accidents may happen as she adjusts to a new routine. She has done well with cats in her foster home and shows no issues living alongside them. Because Allie has some mill&#226&#128&#145dog traits, she can be nervous around loud noises and unfamiliar situations. However, she has already made wonderful progress and continues to gain confidence with patience and consistency. A quieter home with older, respectful children and another dog would be ideal. She has been professionally groomed twice and did well, though she was understandably a bit nervous. Allie is ready to blossom into a loyal, loving companion for the right family — one that will offer her kindness, understanding, and the gentle stability she deserves. Allie is now spayed, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $475 We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 19, 2026, 10:16 am

Story
Name: BuffyEstimated DOB: 3/17/24 Breed: Mini PoodleSex: Female (Spayed)Weight: 12 lbs.Location: Lockport Buffy is a sweet little mini poodle with a lot of love to give.  Buffy came in as a local stray, but she was rescued by one of the best and is here to shine!  Her favorite hobbies include cuddling and playing fetch with a ball (fetch with other toys isn’t acceptable in her eyes). She also follows her humans around and just wants to be loved.  Buffy enjoys a quiet home, with mature adults. She does not enjoy the commotion of public spaces. She is good with other dogs and cats, and would do well with a calm canine companion, but she really prefers just being close to her people. Buffy is still working on potty training (95% there) and building her confidence, so she will need a patient adopter who understands that progress takes time!   Buffy is looking for someone who will give her the love, attention, and patience, to help her thrive and be the best girl! If you’re interested in adopting Buffy, please apply at https://www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue if you’re already pre-approved. ##2688172##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mabel — Ready for Her Sweet Retirement Mabel is a 10&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old Bichon who was recently released from a life of making puppies. She arrived in our care in pretty rough shape, but with gentle handling, good food, and a much&#226&#128&#145needed grooming, she’s finally discovering what it feels like to be loved and cared for Despite everything she’s been through, Mabel has a playful little spark — every now and then she gets these adorable bursts of puppy energy that make everyone smile. And when she’s done? She’s a champion napper, happiest curled up in her cozy bed in the kitchen. She also does well in a crate and finds comfort in having her own little space. Mabel is still learning the basics — stairs, leash walking, and housetraining — but she’s trying, and she’ll get there with patience and routine. She’s a gentle, sensitive girl who enjoys people and would love a calm home where she can be pampered the way she always deserved. She’d do well with another friendly dog and would be fine with older, quieter kids who understand her pace. Rambunctious little ones aren’t really her style anymore. Her recent grooming made her feel like a brand&#226&#128&#145new dog — she looks adorable and feels so much better! She’ll need regular grooming to keep her comfortable and looking her best. Mabel’s dream home is peaceful, loving, and ready to spoil her through her golden years. She has so much sweetness left to give Could you be the one to give Mabel the soft landing she’s waited her whole life for? Mabel is now spayed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She also had bloodwork and a dental done while in our care.  Her adoption fee is $400 to help with her vetting costs. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 12:31 pm
