Meet Clover – A Gentle Soul Ready for His Forever Home
Clover is a 5-year-old, 40-pound Mini Bernedoodle with a quiet personality and a heart that’s ready to finally find the stability and love he deserves. His journey hasn’t been easy. Clover was originally adopted from Michigan Humane as a younger fella, but over the years he was bounced from home to home before eventually being severely neglected. When he was rescued, his fur had become so painfully matted that he had to be sedated just so it could be safely removed.
Despite everything he has been through, Clover remains a sweet and gentle boy who is now thriving in his foster home and patiently waiting for a family who will give him the lifelong commitment he deserves.
Clover is a quiet companion who enjoys the simple things in life—peaceful leash walks, relaxing near his people, and feeling safe in a calm home environment. He does well with other dogs that are respectful of his boundaries and doesn’t seem bothered by cats at all. Because of his sensitive nature, Clover would do best with older, dog-savvy children.
Clover is crate trained and has shown a good understanding of house manners in his foster home. As a doodle mix, he will require regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable, and his new family should be committed to maintaining that routine.
After everything he has experienced, Clover is looking for a loving home that will cherish him for the rest of his life. He is a truly special boy who deserves a future filled with kindness, stability, and the unconditional love every dog should know.

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.
FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
