Story
Meet Mila!
Mila is a stunning two-year-old miniature poodle who weighs 19 pounds. She was heartbreakingly surrendered to a high-kill shelter in severely neglected condition, with her coat so matted it had to be completely shaved. Her elderly owner was no longer able to care for her, and instead of seeking help or rehoming options, the owner’s adult son requested euthanasia for Mila—something she absolutely did not deserve.
Through no fault of her own, Mila found herself in this situation, but her sweet and resilient nature shines through. Mila is incredibly loving and dog-friendly. When we took her to the groomer to get cleaned up, she quickly became the center of attention, charming everyone she met with her sweet demeanor.
Now that Mila has had a fresh start, she’s ready to find a family who will give her the love and care she’s always deserved. If you’re ready to provide Mila with her happily-ever-after, apply to adopt her today!
is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you).

It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.
