Story
This sweet little 8 1/2 lb girl is called Bonnie and her story is so very sad but happening way too many times these days. She is in a very small town of Tennessee and recently lost her mom and the family wanted nothing to do with her precious little 6-year-old poodle called Bonnie. So, what did they do, but put her outside on a tie out and pay no attention to her. She soon became sunburned, matted and full of fleas. She also developed an extreme sadness and fearful nature as she felt the vulnerability of being tied out on a stake. A good neighbor came to her rescue and took her to a groomer to have her shaved down. The groomer was mortified to see the condition that this precious little girl Poodle was in. She decided to not return her to the neighbor and it was in full agreement that she would take over care of this pitiful little girl. Critter Cavalry quickly took her to their vet and she will also be receiving a dental in the next 5 days. You see h mmer throat was swollen from drainage due to bad teeth, but other than that, she passed all health tests such as heartworm and parasites and worms. She will one day be restored to a beautiful soul inside and out. Today she looks fragile and we know her spirit has been beaten down and challenged. But she will survive because we will find someone to love her unconditionally and treat her like the Princess she's always meant to be. If you would like to adopt this precious girl please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 6, 2024, 6:14 pm

This little bundle of joy was found on a deserted road in rural Georgia. Sinbad loves, loves everyone and is the sweetest lap dog you'll ever meet. One of his favorite pass times, besides napping in your lap, is eating - he is a big foodie and loves his treats! Sinbad bonds closely with his people, so it is a must that he sleep with you at night. If you're not giving him enough love, he'll let you know.  He's fine with other dogs, although they definitely take a second seat to people as far as he's concerned.   Sinbad enjoys adventures and rides great in the car. He has a previous broken leg, so he does need to take it slow on walks, but he navigates steps like a true champ. Sinbad may be a senior, but don't let that fool you, he still has plenty of love to give. He is not looking for much, just a cozy home where he can share his golden years with someone who will appreciate a sweet and loving companion. Submit an application today!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Coco is a sweet, lovable companion. She enjoys following you around the house and making herself cozy on the floor close to you. She is crate trained and has gotten used to being in one part of the house. She grew up with my daughter, but my daughter has become more allergic to Coco and we are trying to find her a loving home to live out her golden years.

Story
The freedom bell rang early for the Red, Woof & Blue Crew, including Liberty!  Liberty, lovingly called Libby by her foster family, is a 6-ish-year-old, 12-pound poodle.  Liberty was part of an 81-dog breeder bust, and OBG helped five pups to freedom!   Libby loves the other pups in the home and tries to play with them!  Awww.  Libby must have another sweet, snuggly, playful pup in her forever home.  She is very timid around people and needs a quiet home with a securely fenced yard. She is working hard on house training and doing very well.  Libby is not a pup who could live in the city or condo/apartment. Libby's ideal forever home is with an experienced adopter who has lots of love and patience. To learn more about Liberty, please email adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com.  She is located in Northern VA.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 7, 2024, 12:45 pm
