Story
Flitz, baby boy Flitz ❤️ He proudly joined the "Let's drain the rescue account" crew on day 1 of his arrival. Two seperate hospitalization and his majesty is now walking around as if he owns the place. It'll take a few more days to fully recover but he's now eating like famine is coming and we're hoping to see the three pounds he lost come back quickly. He's 2 years old, mini poodlish at 17lbs, simply amazing, dog friendly, people oriented and wants to be in the center of action (and attention). We do not know how he is with cats. Our adoption radius for Flitz is an absolute maximum of 35 miles from zip code 20906. No Exceptions. To apply to meet Flitz please use this link: https://bit.ly/4d7XoKd

If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Bilbo Waggins, and I just arrived at CSAC from a shelter. The volunteer at CSAC said I am well behaved, friendly and energetic. I just want to crawl into someone's lap. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished pet. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Rita, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The CSAC volunteer said that I was a bouncy puppy whose tail was wagging, was very happy and very sweet. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money.
