Story
🧡 Meet Lucy – A Tender-Hearted Survivor Looking for Love 🧡 Lucy is a 3-year-old spayed female who was rescued from a severe hoarding situation along with over 30 other dogs. She's gentle, quiet, and incredibly resilient despite everything she’s been through. This sweet girl is not leash-trained yet, but she is pad trained and very gentle when hand-fed. She's learning to eat from a bowl and starting to explore life outside her comfort zone. Lucy enjoys being held and seems to find comfort in gentle lap time and petting — her favorite spot is a soft dog bed in a quiet corner. Lucy is not aggressive and has never growled or snapped, even under stress. She’s shy and will need someone with patience and experience with unsocialized or hoarded dogs to help her continue her journey to healing. What Lucy Needs in a Home: A calm, quiet household (no young children, please) A fenced yard with a smaller, secure potty area Another kind and confident dog to help her learn the ropes A person or family with patience, love, and a gentle routine Lucy is currently being housed with her friend Ethel, and they have begun to be separated to encourage independence. This is a special girl who didn’t ask for the circumstances she came from — but she deserves the very best going forward. If you’re ready to open your heart to a dog who will reward your patience with quiet loyalty and love, Lucy is ready to begin her new chapter. 📍 Located in Bradenton, FL 📩 Apply to adopt at ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Pongo! At just 18 months old, this handsome poodle mix is the definition of pure joy. Pongo wakes up every day ready to love life — and everyone he meets! ✨ Why we love Pongo: • Gets along with dogs of all sizes • Great with kids — he came from a home with two grandchildren and did wonderfully with them. • Walks beautifully on a leash • House trained • Crate trained • Big cuddly doodle who actually knows his size • Total goofball who brings happiness wherever he goes Pongo is gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s close to his people. Whether he’s strolling politely by your side or leaning in for a giant cuddle, this sweet boy just wants to be part of the family. Cats are not really his thing, but if you have kids and/or other dogs, Pongo should fit right in. Pongo will be getting neutered on Friday this week and will then be ready to go.   If you’ve been looking for a sweet, loving, oversized lap dog with a goofy personality and a heart of gold, Pongo may be your perfect match. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Karma (AKA Archie)!   This 42-lb, 8-month-old Bernedoodle pup is full of energy, love, and all the good “dood” vibes you could ask for!   Karma is crate trained when his people are away and is almost fully potty trained (with just the occasional puppy oops). He’s friendly and playful with both people and other dogs, and he’s always up for an adventure — beach days, park trips, long walks… you name it, he’s ready!   He loves: Toys and playtime Outdoor activities A fenced yard to run and zoom Snuggling his person (he’s convinced he’s a lapdog!)   Karma is still a puppy, so he’s working on his manners. He knows “come” and “sit,” and is practicing “stay” and “down.” He does get excited and may jump up to say hello, so continued training will help him shine. He would do best in a home with adults and/or older children who can help reinforce his training.   He’s very food motivated (mention a treat or shake the dinner bowl and he’s there! ), but he does have a sensitive belly and eats a chicken-free diet (Blue Buffalo Basics kibble). Karma can be moderately protective of his food bowl, so he just needs a little space during mealtime. Outside of that, he does not show guarding behaviors with people, toys, or treats.   ✨ Neutered ✨ Up to date on vaccinations ✨ Ready for his forever home in the Tampa Bay area   Karma is a sweet, loving boy who deserves a family ready to match his energy, continue his training, and give him all the cuddles he craves.   Could Karma be the good “dood” you’ve been looking for? NAME:  Kip BREED:  Poodle/terrier mix SEX:  male COLOR:  cream/white AGE:  2 yrs as of Sept 2025 WEIGHT:  10 lbs FOSTERED BY: LOCATED IN: NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Meet Kip! Kip is a sweet, energetic, cozy-loving pup who’s all about the simple joys in life. He absolutely loves blankets and is happiest curled up on a blanket on the couch, taking a nap right next to his people. When it’s time for bath day, Kip is easygoing and doesn’t mind getting warm baths at all—he’s a very polite boy! When he’s not relaxing, Kip’s energetic side shines. He enjoys zoomies in the yard, a good game of fetch, chewing on bones, and playing with his toys—though fair warning: his toys need to be stuffing-less, because if there’s stuffing inside, Kip will happily pull it out. He also loves playing with other little dogs and is comfortable around big dogs. He does great sharing space with no food aggression or resource guarding, and Kip is great with kids, making him a wonderful family companion. Kip has been through a lot in his past, including being hit by a car, but you’d never know it—his injuries don’t slow him down or dampen his happy spirit at all. To help him feel his best during playtime, he may benefit from having carpet or rugs throughout the house so he has good traction while running and playing. After dinner, Kip’s favorite routine is winding down with a good brushing (especially when he’s tired), and he never misses a chance to bark at cows if any are nearby—it’s one of his favorite “jobs.” Kip would do wonderfully in a home that enjoys both playtime and cuddle time. If you’re looking for an energetic yet snuggly companion who’s equally happy fetching a ball or snoozing on a blanket, Kip might be your perfect match.  If you are interested in adopting please complete our Adoption Application by copying and pasting the following link into your web browser: http://www.caninecastaways.org/adoption-application For a full list of dogs we currently have for adoption use this link:  https://www.caninecastaways.org/adoptable-dogs MEDICAL INFO: The following has been or will be done for this dog... - Basic Exam by Veterinarian - Spayed or Neutered - Heartworm Tested - Placed on heartworm preventive - Basic Bloodwork - Urinalysis - Microchipped - Intestinal Parasite Exam and medication - Vaccinations - Placed on Flea preventive ADOPTION DONATION: $300 This adoption donation helps to cover the vet expenses for this dog including heartworm preventive which is dispensed at the initial vet visit and then goes with the dog at adoption.
