Story
Meeps is a 7-lb Pomeranian/Poodle mix born 11/14/25 with silky cream-colored curls and a joyful, playful personality. This happy little guy absolutely loves to play and spends most of his day bouncing around with his foster siblings, chasing balls, wrestling, and exploring toys. Meeps is a smart puppy who already enjoys Level 3 puzzle toys and loves rooting around in the ball pit. When he gets excited, he hops around like a tiny baby kangaroo — it’s as adorable as it sounds. Once he’s finished playing, Meeps enjoys tummy rubs and quick cuddle sessions before heading off for his next adventure. He is doing well with potty training and regularly seeks out potty pads when he needs to go. Meeps thrives with other playful dogs and must have a canine companion in his forever home. He would do best in a family that enjoys engaging with their dog daily through play, enrichment, and fun activities. If you’re looking for a joyful little companion who will bring laughter and energy into your life, Meeps may be the perfect match. 🐾 *** Go to www.pawsitiverestorations.com to learn all about our dogs, watch their silly videos, read our adoption process, and to submit an adoption application. Story
Meet Peter! Peter is a small, white Mini Schnauzer mix with a lot of personality packed into his little frame. Rescued from the shelter just in time, Peter has been given a second chance at life, and now we’re looking for his perfect forever home. Peter’s ideal adopter is an experienced dog owner who understands that some dogs need a little extra care and patience. Peter has shown some bite tendencies, and while we’re working with a trainer to understand his triggers, it’s important to be mindful of his boundaries. He doesn’t like being picked up and prefers not to be pet unless he comes to you first. When he feels safe and comfortable, Peter can be snuggly and affectionate—but it’s always on his terms. He is good with other dogs, so a canine companion could be a great fit for him. However, because of his biting history, Peter should not be in a home with children. Peter isn’t just a dog—he’s a work in progress who needs someone willing to invest time, patience, and love into helping him thrive. In the right home, Peter’s personality will shine, and he’ll reward you with loyalty and companionship. If you’re the experienced, patient adopter Peter needs, please fill out an application on our website. Peter is waiting for someone to see the good dog he truly is and help him live his best life. Once he warms up, Peter is incredibly affectionate and loyal. He would do best in a quiet household with adults or older children who understand his need for patience and kindness. If you’re looking for a sweet, devoted companion, Peter is ready to meet you and start a new chapter in his life!

Story
Meet Napoleon Dynamite! And yes, the name fits, this little guy has clearly been practicing his dance moves because he loves standing up on his hind legs and prancing around the house. Napoleon may be small, but he’s got a big personality that’s starting to shine more and more every day. Once he feels safe, he turns into a goofy, playful little guy who loves bouncing around you, going for walks, zooming in the backyard, and scratching himself against your feet. Napoleon’s past hasn’t been the easiest. Before coming to us, he survived a serious attack from another dog and was covered in wounds. Because of that, he’s still a little sensitive around bigger dogs and would likely be happiest as the only dog in his home. In his foster home he does coexist with the resident dogs who politely ignore him, and he loves his foster cat sibling and we think he’d do well with feline siblings! Watching his confidence grow has been pretty special.Napoleon can be shy when meeting new people, but once you’re in his circle he’s a sweet, loyal little shadow. He’s especially fond of the ladies and has loved every woman he’s met so far—as long as they move slowly and give him a moment to get comfortable. Men are still a bit scary for him right now, but he is learning that they come with lots of tasty treats. He’s doing wonderfully with the basics, he’s quiet as a mouse in his crate, appears to be potty trained, and has been great with gentle handling like being picked up when his foster mom needs to. Most of all, Napoleon just needs a patient home that will let him keep building confidence and show the silly, loving dog we know he is. If you want to follow along with his journey and see more photos and videos, check out his foster mom’s Instagram: @wander_adventurously All POSO Dogs come with: - Spayed/Netuered - Basic Shots (age appropriate) - Fecal and 4dx testing - other medical concerns addressed before adoption - 2 Free one on one dog training sessions with a professional dog trainer - Training received in foster home - Basic things like some food, treats, leash and collar - PDFs of training material and local coupons and dog sitter recommendations

Story
** If you are interested in adopting Daisy please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** Meet Daisy! Daisy is an adorable, 2 year old, 9 lb Mini Poodle mix. The Texas vets said she most closely resembles a Mini Goldendoodle based on her coat, face shape, and overall structure. That said, we want to be transparent that we do not DNA test our rescue dogs. Breed is always our best visual and professional assessment, not a guarantee — and with mixes like Daisy, there can be a variety of breeds in the background that make her the unique little pup she is! This little cutie has quite the mysterious past — she was shockingly found as a stray in Texas wearing a fancy collar (with no tags), but sadly, no one ever came looking for her. It’s hard to imagine how a dog this special ended up on her own, but we’re so grateful she’s now safe and getting her second chance. Daisy is as sweet as they come. She is incredibly friendly with both people and other dogs, with a happy, social, and easygoing nature. At just 9 pounds, Daisy is the perfect pint-sized pup with a big heart. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start fresh with a family who will adore her as much as she deserves. Daisy is up to date on her vaccinations, has been fully vetted, is healthy, heartworm negative, and is spayed. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup. If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
