Ollie is such a sweet and special boy with a quiet and lovely nature. Ollie is an 1 ½ -year-old, 14-pound wheat-colored Poodle/Chihuahua mix (his mother is a Poodle and dad is a Chihuahua). Ollie is a lovable pup who will need time to adjust to his new surroundings. He thrives best in a calmer environment, ideally with another friendly dog. He loves snuggling up with other dogs, and having a canine companion would be perfect for him! Because of Ollie’s gentle, bashful demeanor, we recommend a home with adults or older teenagers. He may take his time warming up, but once he trusts you, you’ll see his sweet and gentle nature shine through. Ollies does well at the sanctuary using the doggie door to go potty outside, He will benefit from some leash training to help him build confidence. Meet Darling Oso, a charming 5-year-old, 18-pound White Poodle mix looking for his forever home! Rescued from a life of neglect, Oso was found in a matted condition but has since been shaved and is embracing his new beginning. He was scanned for a microchip. He had owners on record but they were moving and did not want him back! Despite his previous challenges, he has a sweet disposition, though he may be a bit shy initially. Oso will thrive in a loving environment where he can take his time adjusting to being a pampered pet, as he was accustomed to outdoor living. He is good with other dogs but would also be content as an only pet, given plenty of companionship. Oso is currently learning important skills like how to use a doggy door and responding to the command "go potty," although there may be a few accidents as he acclimates to his new surroundings. He is leash trained and requires a home with a securely fenced yard to keep him safe; he has a knack for trying to escape! Oso is microchipped, vaccinated, and will soon be neutered. Hi, my name is Arthur. I am a Poochon breed (poodle bichon frise), probably about 1-2 years old male, weighing 16 lbs. I was running around the streets of Stockton until a lady caught me. I was then placed in foster care through AFC for my stray hold. But now it is time to find my furever home. My foster mom had to take me to the groomers because I was matted to the skin, had foxtails in my paws and oily substance on my body. The groomer did a great job cleaning me up and now I am the handsome boy I was meant to be. I did well for a young dog with the groomer, I did have my moments, but settled down. I ride well in the car, house trained to the doggy door and get along well with all the dogs in my foster home. I saw cats at the groomer's house and was not reactive, so with appropriate introduction I should be fine. I like children as long as they know how to respect me. My foster mom says my one bad fault is marking in the house, so she has to put a male doggie diaper on me, though I am getting better every day. I don't like to be crated but will calm down a short time after being put in the crate. I would be happy sleeping with my new family. I am starting my vaccinations, will be microchipped and neutered. I will need regular grooming. I don't shed. CHe needs a home where he can go on adventures, run, play and be loved on and adored. I worry that my home can’t be that for him anymore - and while my heart is breaking as I write this - I fear that this is the best choice for his mental space. There would be a zero cost rehoming fee. His shots are up to date. We can provide everything we have for him, crate, bed, food, treats, toys, toy bin. He’s been through various training courses in basic training and agility. When he’s feeling secure and safe he is the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. The rehoming is simply to cover the cost of using this platform.
