Story
Jack is being fostered in CA. Are you looking for a cuddle bug? Look no further than Jack! Jack is a 7-year-old poodle/min mix who loves to snuggle and be right by your side. When he’s happy, he jumps up and down like a bunny (which is the cutest!). Even though he is blind, he can make his way through the house and the yard with no issues. Jack is house-trained and uses the doggy-door. His friendly nature extends to everyone he encounters, both dogs, cats, and humans alike, especially babies and children. He believes that love knows no boundaries and greets every opportunity to make new friends with enthusiasm. If you're searching for a furry companion who will shower you with love, joy, and unwavering loyalty, look no further than Jack. Give him the second chance at happiness he so deserves, and in return, he will fill your life with endless happiness and unconditional love. Now, this wonderful companion is ready to embark on his new chapter and share his boundless love and joy with a forever family. Story
Sandra Dee  is a very sweet and cuddly dog.  It takes some time for her to warm up to humans, but once she does, she is such a delight!  She is surprisingly very social and lights up when friends visit with their dogs as well. She is happy to share her food and toy with the other dogs. She gets a bit fearful when she comes across a dog who is a bit too much for her.  For instance, if they won't stop sniffing her, or they try to play too rough, she will yelp and run to you for protection. Energy Level?  Medium House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on leash?  She freezes as soon as the leash goes on. She will need someone to help leash train her. Describe how they are with other dogs?  She is lovely with other dogs. At first, she is timid, but once she gets to know them, she will play with them as long as they do not play too rough or sniff her too long.. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?   He did fine meeting a cat, but of course, slow safe introductions are always recommended Commands they know?  Trying to teach her to sit and come.  She still needs more work, but she is smart! What are their favorite things?  She loves everyone and treats (she is picky with the treats though). She loves to just hang out, cuddle, and play with their humans. What do they need to work on?  Confidence. She needs to be with someone who has patience until she builds that confidence with you. Also needs to work on basic commands and walking on leash.   How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  She has been left home alone (with my dog) 2 days a week while I am at work (8hrs). At first she was confined to an Xpen, but now she has free roam the house.  She whines and howls at first, then settles down.  I leave a pee pad and she has only used it once, otherwise she can hold it. Where do they sleep?  At first she slept in her Xpen. She whined but after some reassurance, she quieted down and slept the entire night.  Now I let her free roam the house at night and she sleeps on her bed or in her open crate by herself and she is totally fine. What is their ideal home?  She will do well in a home with children (preferably older), single person who works from home or works partly from home, or in a home where adopters are retired.  She'd do great with other dogs as long as they do not play too rough, but also can be the only dog in the household.   Our Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt  and  we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram   November 5, 2024, 12:10 am

Story
**Meet Kumo!**   Kumo is a sweet and reserved pup who’s looking for a patient and loving home to help her continue building confidence. This gentle girl has an adorable, calm presence at home—always seeking to be near her humans. Whether she’s lying at your feet while you work or snuggling up for a belly rub, she’s happiest when she’s by your side. **Daily Routine:**  Kumo's day starts bright and early at 6:30am with a potty break. She enjoys two meals a day—one around noon and another at 6pm—with potty breaks to follow. She winds down her evening with a final bathroom break at 11pm before snuggling in for the night. Kumo is crate-trained for sleeping, but she prefers to be left out when her humans aren’t around, as she experiences some separation anxiety. She does best with continued crate and separation anxiety training, so a home that can be patient and work with her will help her thrive. **Manners & Training:**  Kumo knows basic commands like “sit,” “down,” and “crate,” and she responds to a whistle for recall (inside the house). She hasn’t yet been on walks while waiting for vet clearance, but she’s eager to learn and should adapt well with gentle guidance. When it comes to meal times, Kumo is wonderfully polite—she’ll lay quietly nearby and never beg. Belly rubs are her ultimate reward, and she’ll happily roll over for them during training! **Personality & Interactions:**  While Kumo may start out a bit cautious with new people and dogs, she’s curious and will eventually greet them once she feels comfortable. At home, she’s content being calm and low-key, but she absolutely adores spending time close to her human, even curling up on their lap when given the chance. Kumo has met other dogs, kids, and adults and does well with them after initial introductions. **Special Notes:**  Kumo has shown signs of resource guarding, so her fosters have been careful with toys around her, but with proper training and patience, this is something that can be managed. For now, belly rubs and treats keep her happy! **Ideal Home:**  Kumo would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of human companionship and gentle training for her separation anxiety. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick who will be your shadow and your cuddle buddy, Kumo is ready to shower you with love and loyalty.   For more photos and videos please see our website www.hdbnqrescue.org/bitches youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/@HDBnQRescue ##2171934##

Story
Meet dear, sweet Gino! This gentle soul has come such a long way. When we first met him, he was overwhelmed, covered in fleas and dirt, with matted fur and a wounded paw. But thanks to the caring people in our group, Gino has learned that life is good and full of kindness. After a spa day with the groomer, a healing vet visit, and a bit of TLC, he's ready to start fresh! Gino is calm and loving, and he gets along well with other dogs. He'd feel most at ease in a peaceful home, possibly with a canine friend to show him the ropes. If you have room in your heart and home for a loyal, affectionate companion, Gino could be your perfect match. Reach out to meet him-you won't regret it!
