Story
Ollie came to our local shelter a matted shut down mess at only a yr old. He was pulled and taken to our groomers immidiatly. He's very sweet and does great with other dogs. Still very young and puppy like. Needs an experienced home so he will continue to get his regular groomings.  These are still high maintenence dogs though so must have "breed experience" to adopt.   **no out of state and no apartments, no children 5 and under ****PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO CHECK STATUS OF A DOG...PHONE CALLS ARE FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY. EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS ON ADOPTION AS WE DO NOT GET BACK TO PHONE CALLS ABOUT ADOPTION. Shots up to date (DHPP), wormed, micro chipped, altered (spayed/neutered).   Adoption cost for this dog is $400 We are a rescue, and although we have a facility in Modesto most of our dogs/pups are currently being fostered  in or around our area. So please be willing to make the trip to see them if you are from out of the area. Our adoption process REQUIRES that an application must first be submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our pets. Just note that we may get several responses on one pet at a time so just because you have an approved application does not mean said pet is on hold for you. One must FIRST confirm an appointment to meet the pet after an approved application has been sent. To inquire about this specific pet, please write to info@pupznpalz.org for an application. Please remember to put the pets name in the subject line when emailing, and on the top on the application. It helps us to help you that must faster. We are a group of volunteers, and ask that you please bare with us. We will get to each person just as quickly as we can. If you do not hear back from us within 24 hours, please send another request as we have been having problems with e-mail. email: info@pupznpalz.org and ask for an application for which dog you are interested in phone: 209-480-8662 (9-6 pm only please, cell phone, emergencies only please...do not call to ask status of dog, email please) **ADOPTION EVENTS: to be announced **OUR FACILITY: Located at 1430 Carpenter Lane Suite B (by appointment only as we do not have set hours)     November 26, 2024, 9:23 am

He’s very playful, and loves to go on walks. He gets along great with people, and with other dogs, but we are unsure of cats. Fred hasn’t been around a lot of kids, but he should be fine if properly introduced to them, and if they are respectful of small dogs. He is housetrained and uses the doggy door. He is neutered, dewormed and up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in meeting this sweet little guy, please text or email Sheryl at the above contact information PRE-SCREENING, APPLICATION, VET REFERENCES & FENCED YARD REQUIRED. Story
Meet the adorable Muffin! She is a 1/2-year-old, 19 pound, white, Poodle mix. She was found as a stray and was horribly matted. This pretty girl had to be shaved but her coat is growing in nicely. No more neglect for this sweet gal! She will require regular professional grooming. She does enjoy gentle play with smaller dogs but she prefers human companionship over anything else. She would be happiest in a home where someone is with her most of the time. She loves people of all ages. Muffin is very loving and will give kisses. She would love to hang out with you by day and snuggle in your bed at night? She is a very smart girl! She uses her paws in cat like fashion to move items around. She knows how to sit and will try to train you to give her a treat! She seems to be housebroken but may require some reinforcement. She may need leash training. At the sanctuary we use the command "go potty" before taking the dogs outside to do their business. Muffin is happy to comply. This is a good habit to continue at home. She requires a securely fenced yard, as she can jump over a 3-foot fence with ease! She is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccinations. Are you ready for a new love? Muffin is waiting to fill your heart and home with love. Story
Meet Darling Oso, a charming 5-year-old, 18-pound White Poodle mix looking for his forever home! Rescued from a life of neglect, Oso was found in a matted condition but has since been shaved and is embracing his new beginning. He was scanned for a microchip. He had owners on record but they were moving and did not want him back! Despite his previous challenges, he has a sweet disposition, though he may be a bit shy initially. Oso will thrive in a loving environment where he can take his time adjusting to being a pampered pet, as he was accustomed to outdoor living. He is good with other dogs but would also be content as an only pet, given plenty of companionship. Oso is currently learning important skills like how to use a doggy door and responding to the command "go potty," although there may be a few accidents as he acclimates to his new surroundings. He is leash trained and requires a home with a securely fenced yard to keep him safe; he has a knack for trying to escape! Oso is microchipped, vaccinated, and will soon be neutered. He will need regular professional grooming If you're ready to shower this sweet boy with love and patience, Oso is eager to find a home where he can truly blossom. Are you the one to give him the happy life he deserves? Don't miss out on the chance to welcome Oso into your heart and home! Story
Cody and Molly are a sweet bonded pair who came to us after their mom passed away. They are kind, considerate and gentle little lambs. Cody is 28 lbs (needs to lose some weight!) and Molly is 13 lbs. Cody is 17 years young and Molly is 18 years young. They've been indoor dogs for a long time with little to no outdoor time and they're happy to enjoy the great outdoors, especially when it's sunny! These two really are the sweetest pair of buddies they look forward to spending forever and ever together. Cody came to us with bladder stones, had surgery and is now on a special diet to help prevent this from occurring again. Molly and Cody are a very sweet pair who don't ask for much, just a loving, warm and cozy home where they get to enjoy indoor and outdoor sunshine time together.
