Story
Meet Morita, this little piranha is the cutest baby you will ever meet. A little puppy full of energy and excited to make new friends. She loves to play with dogs and cats, she is usually very friendly and sociable, she adapts easily to new environments, and loves to play with balls, small stuffed animals, ropes, and anything you give her, she is in her naughty stage, and she is too adorable, easy to train, she is in potty training, she still has some accidents but it is normal in a puppy. He is also learning to walk on leash. She has no problem wearing clothes, bows or having a ponytail. She likes to sleep in a big and comfortable bed, or sleep in bed with you, she usually follows you around the house running, even if you walk, she is tiny, haha, she likes to play biting (but it doesn't hurt, it's just because she is a puppy) Intelligent, adorable, loving, she likes to give lots of kisses, she welcomes you with joy when you come home, and she knows how to ride in a car.

Larry is an amazing little pup who deserves a good life after the rough start he has had.  Can you give Larry the life he deserves? He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. Simon’s foster dad describes him as, “the most gentle dog he’s ever experienced!” Simon does have some slight hearing and eyesight impairment, so he needs a safe home. He gets along with other dogs and is very social with children. He was previously abandoned so he is very sensitive to being locked in a crate, but leaving him alone in the house for a few hours is fine. Simon doesn’t mind car rides, but he tends to get motion sick in car rides longer than 20 minutes so will need some medication before longer rides.  If you give Simon neck scratches, he will melt into you and love you forever. Can you give Simon the best life?  He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. His adoption fee is $200. Story
Paloma was found in the streets of Los Angeles. She had a few minor injuries that she has already recovered from. Paloma is about 1 year old female poodle/maltese mix. She weights 15 lbs. She may get to 20 lbs max when she is fully grown. She is spayed and her shots are up to date. Her blood work came back clean. She is in great healt! Paloma is a smart and friendly girl. In just a few weeks, she learned to use the pee pee pads, to walk on the leash, and to wait until she is walked to go potty. She sleeps in her own bed throughout the night. She gets along with my three dogs. I have taken her to hang out with family and friends, and she loves EVERYONE. Paloma enjoys playing with other small dogs and kids. I have not introduced her to large dogs or cats, but I think she will be fine with both. She loves chewing on toys. She is not destructive, but she has stolen a few socks to play with them. Asking for a $250 rehoming fee to help me cover her sterilization and vet bills.

Story
How Benjamin Button arrived: Benjamin Button was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on 10/25/24. He was briefly adopted and returned to our care. Why Benjamin Button is the one for you:Benjamin Button has been social and easy to handle since his arrival at San Diego Humane Society. He's shown a calm and cooperative nature, making it easy for staff to care for him. With his gentle demeanor and adaptability, Benjamin Button would be a fantastic companion for someone looking for a well-mannered pet. During his brief adoption, Benjamin Button was a bit scared by cats in the home so he might need time to adjust to being with cats. He does however, love dogs! Benjamin is also visually impaired and may need some occasional guidance when it comes to getting around. This sweet boy still loves his walks and enjoys being out in the world. He is such a gem! If you would like to meet this sweet boy, email us at sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Benjamin Button is now ready for his new home!Message for details:This pet is available for adoption in a foster home. To adopt them, please email us at SDCadoptions@sdhumane.org and provide a good callback number. Primary Color: Apricot Weight: 15.56 Age: 5yrs 2mths 0wks
