Story
Elliot is an endearing dog who came to us as a stray. He was in very rough condition when he arrived. While we were able to clean him up and groom him and have him treated by our veterinarian, Elliot did suffer some permanent damage to his eyes. He sees fairly well although we feel he probably has some minor vision loss due to his neglect. He is a young boy believed to be about three years old. He will need eye drops daily to keep his eyes from deteriorating further as they get very dry. Other than that, he is a healthy boy who needs lots of love and kindness. He will become very devoted to you and give you back as much as you give him, probably more. We believe he was raised as an only dog as he is socially uncertain about how to deal with other dogs, but he would do OK with another dog that was gentle with him. We feel that Elliot will blossom in a home and become a happier and more playful companion, but he does have some learning to do. He likes to go for walks and he walks well on a leash and does not pull. Like many of our rescued dogs we are not sure how well house trained Elliot is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. He is very eager to please. Elliot is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Elliot's's adoption fee is $350 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Story
Kash could be possibly described as a dignified clown. Or possibly one of those boys who never grows up. Like Peter Pan? He is an absolute doll. He's sweet and loving, funny and playful, loving and snuggly. He came to us as a found dog. He was microchipped and his owners denied owning him. His mouth was full of rotted teeth. Every one of them had to be pulled (He still eats dry food!) he was extremely matted as well. He deserves so much better. He's such a good boy and will fit well into almost any home. He's fully vetted and needs for nothing but a loving home and family. Kash is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Kash's adoption fee is $325 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. Story
Winnie is an adorable two-year-old multi-Pooh, who is gentle and sweet. She’s a little shy upon first meeting, but warms up quickly. She loves to play and is eager to please to get your attention. We do not have a lot of history on Winnie as she came in as a stray, but she appears to be a very well balanced girl. She weighs approximately 14 pounds and has a beautiful coat. She walks well on a leash and gets along with other dogs as well as people. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained Winnie is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise she should be easy to train. Winnie is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Winnie’s adoption fee is $450 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Hi! My name is Spiderman, and I am a beautiful Poodle boy who Is 5 years old, and I weigh 11 pounds. I am very sweet and social and absolutely love other small dogs. I come up for pets, wagging my tail in delight. I love treats and take them very gently. I am perfect for dog baths and grooming. I am just happiest little guy, ready for my furever family.  If you have been waiting for a little Poodle boy, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.
