Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption . We here at FFOS need to point out that we are not 100% sure of any breed we list for these puppies. We are basing breed by looks and size. We could be right or we could be wrong. This is the case with so many of our rescued pets, especially when they are picked up as strays or we don't know anything about the parentage. Just because we listed them as Poodle.Border Collie mixes, does not guarantee that is what mix of breed they are. We just want any interested parties to understand this.       Nutmeg is a sweet tiny little boy that weighed in at 2.6 pounds at approximately 6.5 weeks old. He is very sweet and wants to cuddle with his people. He is very playful with his litter mates. Nutmeg is one of the 4 in the litter with the fluffy coat.   Adoption fee is $325 non-refundable,  and with all unaltered pups due to age restrictions, there will be a $75 reimbursement fee that will be sent to the vet of your choice once an appointment is made. There is a mandatory spay/neuter clause in the adoption agreement. Nutmeg will be ready to go to his forever home Dec 18, 2024 after he has had his third round of DA2PPv vaccine.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.   November 26, 2024, 8:08 pm

Story
Meet Monnie, a 1 1/2-year-old Poodle mix! He wears a long curly white coat and now weighs 45 pounds, but still has a little filling in to do. Monnie came in very emaciated with mats all over him, hence the short coat. He was very shy and fearful when he first arrived but is now showing his wonderful personality to everyone! Monnie is a very playful and goofy dog, always running around jumping with a smile on his face. He does prefer to be the only dog in a household though, as he wants the spotlight all to himself. Adopt this sweet and silly boy and let him fill your life with love and laughter! (ME, 9/29/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 12, 2024, 4:09 pm
