Story
Priss is a very lively, energetic and very bright little dog. She is purebred poodle, 9 yrs old, weighs 10 lbs. I have had Priss for 3 yrs, she was my Mom and Dad’s dog they both have passed away. About a yr before my Dad passed away he asked me if I would take her. Priss was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago. Her diabetes is well controlled, she takes insulin injections twice a day. She is very good about taking the injections. The reason I need to rehome her, my husband has Alzheimer’s so my hands are full and don’t have the time to give Priss that she needs. Looking for someone that will love her and take good care of her. Priss is a very sweet and loving girl.

Story
Meet Monnie, a 1 1/2-year-old Poodle mix! He wears a long curly white coat and now weighs 45 pounds, but still has a little filling in to do. Monnie came in very emaciated with mats all over him, hence the short coat. He was very shy and fearful when he first arrived but is now showing his wonderful personality to everyone! Monnie is a very playful and goofy dog, always running around jumping with a smile on his face. He does prefer to be the only dog in a household though, as he wants the spotlight all to himself. Adopt this sweet and silly boy and let him fill your life with love and laughter! (ME, 9/29/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 12, 2024, 4:09 pm

Story
Groot is an 8 year old Poodle mix who came into rescue when his mom died.  Groot can be a friendly and sweet little fellow but he needs a little time to warm up to new people.  Groot needs a home without children.  This funny character was potty pad trained before his mom's illness, but with all the changes and upset in his life, he will need a period of adjustment to be reliably pad trained again.  Groot is now neutered, has had a recent dental, is fully vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm and is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventives.  His adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $500.  November 6, 2024, 5:36 pm
