Cute as can be Jubilee is a very happy 9wk old, 3.5lb baby girl. Even though she’s so young, she is very smart and mature. She already loves to get out and explore and she even knows how to walk on a leash. She does like to be carried around though, while receiving lots of cuddles at the same time. Jubilee loves to wrestle with her foster brother Tito. And then they will curl up together for a nap. Another small dog in the home that will play and cuddle with her would be great. She is wonderful with the kitties, too. She will load her bed up with any toys she finds so lots of little stuffies are a must. Jubilee gets excited when it’s time to meet new people, so a socially active home would be best to continue her socialization. She even likes children but because she is so tiny, kids must be over 8yrs old. She is very curious and loves to be outside so she should also have a fenced yard. She is not yet old enough to be spayed so her surgery will be scheduled at the time of adoption.

Chucho is very energetic for his age and loves to go on walks, but he's also happy chilling on the couch watching some tv with his best human buddy. Talk about right place at the right time yet again with our foster mum & for the very cute Mickey. This is another one of those disgusting stories of people letting him down, plus so very sad for Mickey. But in the same breath it was a good thing. Our foster mum was at one of the very high kill shelters in CA rescuing a sweet soul a while ago for us when a lady & her young daughter were surrendering Mickey because they were moving. The daughter was hugging Mickey as he was her as he was terrified & she was so very upset & crying. The daughters mother said they were moving & found a place where there was no dogs allowed so she was dropping him off. They had, had Mickey since he was a young puppy she said. She did not really care for poor Mickey & the daughter was begging for them not to drop him off at the shelter when our foster mum reached out to us so we could help him so he didn’t have to go into the dreaded shelter & possibly not come out of there alive. We are so grateful to have saved Mickey because he is not the dog you see today who was surrendered to us, emotionally or physically. Without our outstanding foster mum this would not of happened & who knows what would of happened to this poor boy because he was clearly mistreated. He was also not medically looked after at all. That was all on our shoulders to take care of. Mickey who is now looking for his very own forever home & who will never give up on him again & dump him & love him just as we do. Mickey was bought back to WA state from CA where we got all of his medical taken care of & he can’t wait to find his loving forever home. How on earth anyone could let Mickey down is beyond us. Especially since the previous people had him for so long, it’s shocking. Mickey just wants to be loved & look look out, once you love him back you will have a new best friend for life. Disturbing to think of what almost happened to him. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA. Mickey is not the same dog we rescued. It was quite evident that he had been mistreated & was not looked after. His nails were so long we had no idea how he could walk & he was so very untrusting of people in the beginning & was reactive out of fear & what was going to happen to him. Now this boy knows what it’s like to be loved. He is so very sweet & wants you to cuddle him & love him & adore him. In the beginning his new family will just need to go slow with him & not surprise him at all from the back or anything silly. We must say, he loved the little girl in the family & did not want to leave her, of course he didn’t when he was being dumped. He has done so well now with our vets & everyone there. Once we put him into a daycare he has grown so much in confidence wise since being there with the dogs & men he is around. In the daycare he has been around countless breeds of dogs. He is still learning to walk on a leash & is doing well considering. Mickey is a good eater, he loves to eat & put on a few pounds since being rescued. Mickey’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for his safety. Mickey has been great with his baths because he started having them with us the moment he was rescued & he was quite filthy when our foster mum originally got him. Mickey rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & enjoys looking out the window & going places with you. We are looking for a forever home for Mickey where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lad only. Mickey is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Mickey has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. He can be the king of the home or there can be other dogs in the home. Mickey is roughly 3 years old & 13 lbs & is perhaps a miniature pincher, but what he is mixed with we are not sure at all. He is male, neutered by laser by our wonderful vets. Mickey is heart worm negative, had a dental scale & polish & dental x-rays. He is microchipped, given flea treatment, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on Mickey, with all of his medical care than his adoption fee comes close to even covering, his neuter by laser, all of his shots, dental/scale & polish, boarding fees, testing him for heart worm, microchip, transport fees bringing him back to WA state, etc. Mickey has been around cats since being in the rescue in his foster home & could care less about the cat in his foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children in the rescue so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Mickey was conceived so we do not know who both his parents were, but it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Mickey’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Mickey potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Mickey has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Mickey & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Mickey who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this beautiful soul of a lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Mickey has an adoption fee of $885 & his adoption fee does not come close to what we have spent on this beautiful boy. She loves to hang with family. Princess Peach is house trained/crate trained/loves to play fetch/knows some commands/leash trained and likes to play with other dogs her size.  She is in a foster home with a gentle 4 yr old child.  There are no cats in the foster home, but at the clinic she is curious about the cats (does not bark or chase them). Crow and Conure go together like peanut butter and jelly, chocolate and mint, and double mint gum! These two miniature pinscher mixes are cute as can be, and full of personality. Though they can be a little shy at first, once they warm up, you’re in for a big treat. Crow and Conure are playful, spunky, and fun. They enjoy going for walks, chasing down stuffed toys, and curling up together when it’s time to nap. Crow and Conure can be reactive when first meeting dogs but do well after a slow introduction. They also met cats in their foster home and did well. Crow and Conure will likely do best in a home with just dog-experienced older kids who can let them settle in at their own pace. Adopt Emi! Emi is about 11 months old or so, spayed, vaccinated, and micro chipped. She seems to be a husky mix- but we also see shep and some terrier too. Emi is on the smaller side and weighs only 45lbs. This sweet girl came from the Modesto Animal Shelter when she was Red listed to be put down for space. Her foster family helped save her life by committing to fostering. They weren’t able to keep her very much longer and she needed a new foster. She is now located in Hayward California but is awaiting transport to the Seattle area. Emi is very dog friendly and loves people. She would be an amazing companion and also loves to protect her house. Emi has a beautiful husky voice that she likes to use to alert when strangers are coming near. She loves to go on a car ride and stick her head out the window. Emi came with a scar underneath her chest and arm. It looks like maybe she was injured sometime in her life and it left a mark. We don’t know her story, but we would like to write a new one for her new life someday. We are looking for a family that is dog savvy and who knows how to give love/training and time for a dog to decompress. Everything seems a little new to her and she is learning so well. She knows some commands and definitely knows sit very fast. Emi also is very, very food motivated and is so smart that she is easily trained. Emi loves to be with people or dogs. A home where somebody has a dog would be great so she could learn from them. Emi does not mind sharing her food and lets you take bones/treats from her when she has them. She is a gentle soul with lots of energy and would love to be either your cozy buddy or a very active hiking partner! She is still getting to know the new world out there and would need some time to adjust with a new family again but once she is in the home and adjusted, she is your best friend!
