Sage came from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama. She is now on the hunt for her forever home. Could you be that lucky person? Sage is your typical puppy. She is very sweet and affectionate. Sage also loves her four-legged friends as well. At her young age, Sage is in her prime for training and socialization. Sage is ready to join your pack, submit an application today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
