Story
Good with: Dogs Not tested with: Cats, kids House trained: Mostly Energy level: Moderate (shes playful and spry for her age!) Noise level: Medium Hi there, Im Daisy! I may be almost 14, but dont let my age fool youIve still got plenty of pep in my step! Im pretty spry and love going for walks, trotting along with my cute prance that always gets heads turning. But dont worry, Im also a professional napper and spend most of my day snoozing. If youre looking for a mellow companion who doesnt need tons of exercise, Im your girl. Im perfectly happy lounging around, but I can keep up on walks and enjoy getting out for some fresh air. Im happiest when Im close to my person, so youll often find me following you from room to room like your little shadow. Some call me a "Velcro dog" because I like to stick close, but I just love being around my human! Im not much for playing with toys, but I do love to snuggle up with cozy blankets, towels, or anything soft. While Im not the type to crawl into your lap, I do like to sleep near you and will happily wag my tail for a gentle pat. Im pretty easygoing with other dogsespecially calm onesbut I prefer to do my own thing most of the time. Ill politely ignore them and go about my day. My eyesight and hearing might not be what they used to be, and I do need to get up a few times at night for water, but that doesnt slow me down much! Im healthy for my age, and you wouldnt know Im a senior by the way I trot around with confidence. One of my quirkiest traits is my spunky, independent personality. I might be a bit reserved, but Ive got a playful side tooespecially in the evenings when I get a burst of energy and explore around the house. Sometimes I even find a tissue or two to shred for fun! Ive also recently discovered theres a loft in my home, and Im very curious about what adventures might await up there. So, if youre looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion who will happily nap the day away and be your loyal shadow, Im the perfect match. I might be small, but Ive got a lot of love to give! My foster guardian says: Daisy is very cute and sweet and at times funny and goofy (for example a few times she has danced around my dog and rubbed herself up against her). She also likes to roll around and rub things like couch cushions. She also likes to scratch and burrow and roll around on towels sheets shirts small rugs etc that are on the floor. Likes: Burrowing rawhide sticks and hanging with you! My ideal home: Id love a home where I can be treated like a queen to live out my golden years. Story
Jenny's a petite little lady, so she's perfect for apartment living or snuggling up on the couch. She's such a cutie with a beautiful coat. Anyone who walks by her always wants to give her a pet, which she enjoys! She's incredibly gentle and great with kids. Jenny can get along with other dogs! She isn't very playful with other dogs, but knows how to greet and be among them. She has done wonderfully on doggy dates. While on leash, she sometimes may growl or bark at other dogs, but she instantly becomes friendly once she gets introduced to them. Jenny is very good with cats! My resident cat isn't quite sure what to make of her yet (he's a bit of a grump), but Jenny is patient with him and once in a while approaches to play. She's never shown any chasing tendencies towards him. Jenny's pretty much house-trained, but she might have some 'excited pee' accidents. She's been improving in the short time we've had her. Taking her on longer walks has helped, especially since it seems that she often doesn't like to do her business during off-leash times. She's doing well with crate training and can sleep for about 6 hours before she starts getting restless and wants to be near us. If she had it her way, she would be on your lap the whole day. If you're looking for a loving dog who will stick by your side and shower you with affection, Jenny is the one for you! Thank you for your interest in Jenny 2! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=18372 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Jenny 2, or to submit an online application.
