Story
Daisy is experiencing so many firsts and boy is she excited! Toys, cozy beds, open arms full of love, she lights up over all these things like a kid on Christmas morning. This is a girl that is sweet, friendly, melts for belly rubs and is eager to please. Plus, she loves baby talk and loves to “hold hands” when she is next to you, it's a little bit of affection seeking and a little bit of quiet connection. Take a look for yourself https://youtu.be/e7Uxs4Z1KMY We estimate Daisy to be 1 year old, she weighs an adorable 28 lbs, and may be a Miniature Pinscher/ Kelpie mix. In rescue, age and breed are offered as educated observations, given she is a rescue we cannot know with 100% certainty. She sure is cute though and her size only adds to that! We introduced Daisy to new dogs and we could see she is a very playful girl who is still learning her doggie manners but she is young so this is expected. Her playful energy is not suited for every dog because it has puppy pushiness to it. Daisy could live with other dogs and would love to have a playmate. An ideal pairing would be a dog that is confident, playful, and can offer the occasional “teachable-moment” if her puppy pushiness needs it. In terms of living with cats, she does show some interest in them but proved to be mostly avoidant. With a dog-savvy cat, she could do well, but we anticipate her playful side may think about a game of chase but she will learn that isn’t how to make a feline-friend. Thanks to her age and eagerness to please Daisy is going to very receptive to training. Polishing up her leash skills for walks and adventures along with mastering basic commands will be enjoyable and make you proud of how attentive she is. She listens well and responds beautifully to corrections from her people. Daisy is an incredible dog with an amazing sparkle in her eye and has so much amazing potential. She is going to be a loyal and loving companion! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Even though I am not a basset, my friends at UFBH have agreed to help me find a new home. I'm just a baby and the cutest little fluff ball you'd ever want to meet. My foster mom gave us all "wild west" names. I'm special and the "Belle" of the ball. I'm friendly, snuggly, curious, busy, and all the things you would expect from a puppy. I'm a special blend of breeds, unknown to all of us, so it will be exciting to watch me grow up! We do know that my mom, who is also available for adoption, is under 30 pounds. So I probably will be, also. My dad weighed in at about 35 pounds. (Special adoption fees apply.)

Story
Even though I am not a basset, my friends at UFBH have agreed to help me find a new home. I'm just a baby and the smallest of the litter. My foster mom has named me Annie after Annie Oakley because I'm such a small feisty thing; always getting into everything and very curious. I'm also very sweet and love to snuggle and be held. I'm a special blend of breeds, unknown to all of us, so it will be exciting to watch me grow up! We do know that my mom, who is also available for adoption, is under 30 pounds. Story
Even though I am not a basset, my friends at UFBH have agreed to help me find a new home. I'm just a baby and I look just like my mom. Like every good little boy, I love my mom and drive her crazy at the same time. I'm busy, curious, loving, playful, and all the things a puppy should be. I'm a special blend of breeds, unknown to all of us, so it will be fun to watch me grow up! We do know that my mom, who is also available for adoption, is under 30 pounds and my dad is under 35 pounds. This means I will probably be somewhere between those weights. Story
Even though I am not a basset, my friends at UFBH have agreed to help me find a new home. Imagine my surprise when I discovered I was going to be a mom. I was hardly more than a baby myself but here I am. I've had five beautiful babies. We got very lucky and fell under the loving care of UFBH and all of my babies have had the best. Now we are ready to move on to our forever homes. I'm a small mixed breed. I don't know either of my parents so I can't really tell you much about that. I'm friendly and love to cuddle. I like sleeping with you or at least in the same room. I love to play with other dogs and get along great with everyone I meet. I'm a bit of a jumper and can clear the four foot fenced part of my yard without any effort at all. I will need at least a six foot fence and a good reason to stay home. I have great recall and come back immediately when called. I weigh 27 pounds and will probably always remain on the small side, especially since I will not be having any more surprise babies. (Special adoption fees apply.)

Story
Hello there! I am Muffin! I am the cutest little darling and I am ready to steal your heart! I am initially a scared girl who didn't get a fair shot at life from the beginning and as a result it takes me time to trust and warm up. Once I feel safe and I know you are my friend I will give you love and loyalty, bonus if you offer up extra good treats! I am a little 18lb min pin mix and I love to run and do zoomies with the other sweet little dogs in my foster home - I would be happiest with the companionship of another similar sized dog to help show me the ropes and to teach me how to be confident. I'm hoping someone can see the potential I have and will be willing to give me time and space to feel comfortable. I would do best in a home with no kids or older children who know how to respect a dog's space. I may do fine with dog-savvy cats. I will need a family who is willing to give me access to a safe and cozy crate for sleeping, eating, and anytime I have to be home alone. I am house and crate trained and would love to be your loyal shadow. Might you have the time and love to help me become my very best dog? My adoption fee is $200. I am fully vetted- spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and health checked. To apply to adopt me please visit caws.org. Thank you!
