If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out the application at www.woodscreekrescue.com. Filling out the application is not a commitment to an adoption and needs to be done prior to any further questions you might have or information you are seeking. Our Process is the following: 1. Fill out an application 2. Once the application is approved, you will be called or emailed about setting up a day and time to meet me. 3. After a 'Meet and Greet' then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. After this is determined, we will schedule a home check which can be the day of adoption depending on how things go.

If you love my breed mix, you will understand that we are smart, sweet, loyal and CUTE as all get out! And speaking of GET OUT, I was saved from the pound with my eye hanging out :( BUT, I had surgery and it bothers me no more! I moved forward and now I am in an AMAZING foster home, my foster mama LOVES ME, but I deserve my OWN family!! Fosters and rescuers are SO AWESOME, but there are at least 500 more "Peter Parker" wannabeeeessssss waiting to be saved :( SO, active family, fun and CUDDLY TOO! Story
Daisy is experiencing so many firsts and boy is she excited! Toys, cozy beds, open arms full of love, she lights up over all these things like a kid on Christmas morning. This is a girl that is sweet, friendly, melts for belly rubs and is eager to please. Plus, she loves baby talk and loves to “hold hands” when she is next to you, it's a little bit of affection seeking and a little bit of quiet connection. Take a look for yourself https://youtu.be/e7Uxs4Z1KMY We estimate Daisy to be 1 year old, she weighs an adorable 28 lbs, and may be a Miniature Pinscher/ Kelpie mix. In rescue, age and breed are offered as educated observations, given she is a rescue we cannot know with 100% certainty. She sure is cute though and her size only adds to that! We introduced Daisy to new dogs and we could see she is a very playful girl who is still learning her doggie manners but she is young so this is expected. Her playful energy is not suited for every dog because it has puppy pushiness to it. Daisy could live with other dogs and would love to have a playmate. An ideal pairing would be a dog that is confident, playful, and can offer the occasional “teachable-moment” if her puppy pushiness needs it. In terms of living with cats, she does show some interest in them but proved to be mostly avoidant. With a dog-savvy cat, she could do well, but we anticipate her playful side may think about a game of chase but she will learn that isn’t how to make a feline-friend. Thanks to her age and eagerness to please Daisy is going to very receptive to training. Polishing up her leash skills for walks and adventures along with mastering basic commands will be enjoyable and make you proud of how attentive she is. She listens well and responds beautifully to corrections from her people. Daisy is an incredible dog with an amazing sparkle in her eye and has so much amazing potential. She is going to be a loyal and loving companion! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
