Jo (Johanas) / 3yrs / Male / MIXED BREED / WEIGHT: 12lbs and 5kgs) / Rescued from Barbados / Currently fostered in OshawaGood with other dogsUnknown with cats and kids but likely okayCrate trainedHouse training in progressNote: Small piece of each ear is missing but fully healed and no issuesJo (short for Johanas, or “tiny jumping bean”) is a lovable little guy with two ears that look like someone took a nibble out of each one. They give him a permanently windswept, slightly scandalized expression, which is honestly perfect for who he is: a spunky, goofy, puppy-hearted boy who approaches life with equal parts enthusiasm and suspicion.Jo lives his days bouncing between zooming around the backyard like a caffeinated squirrel and flopping dramatically into the nearest soft surface as if he’s just completed a triathlon. He loves toys, he loves wrestling with his brother, and he loves being carried on walks once he decides he’s done enough “walking” for the day — usually around the 15-minute mark. After that, he transforms into a tiny prince who expects to be chauffeured so he can enjoy the scenery without doing any of the work. When Jo first arrived, he wasn’t so sure about… well, anything. New rooms? Suspicious. Stairs? Absolutely not. The basement? A portal to another dimension! But he’s been growing braver every single day, and now he trots up and down stairs like he’s been doing it his whole life. Optionally, Jo would love to be adopted together with his brother but otherwise, he just needs a bit of patience, a bit of reassurance, and ideally another dog around to show him that the world is not, in fact, out to get him. He adores other dogs, respects the seniors like a polite little gentleman, and feels much more confident when he has a buddy nearby.Jo is working on his house training and doing well with a consistent routine. He’s crate-trained, especially when the house is quiet, and he’ll happily settle in with a peanut-butter Kong like it’s his evening entertainment. He’s not a big barker, though he may let out a joyful little shout when dinner arrives or when his favourite humans come home. Grooming is still a “treat-bribery required” situation, but he tries his best, even when he’s not convinced baths are a necessary part of life. He’s sweet, silly, expressive, and endlessly entertaining — the kind of dog who makes you laugh even when he’s doing absolutely nothing. With his quirky ears,

Nik (Nikita) / 3yrs / Male / MIXED BREED / WEIGHT: 12lbs and 5kgs) / Rescued from Barbados / Currently fostered in OshawaGood with other dogsUnknown with cats and kids but likely okayHouse training in progress Crate trainedNik is a tiny dog with the soul of a romantic lead in a feel-good movie. He’s sweet, snuggly, and so endearing that people routinely gasp, “Oh my gosh, look at him,” as if he’s a celebrity spotted at brunch. His docked tail wiggles so enthusiastically that it could power a small appliance.Nik is the perfect blend of cuddle buddy and playful sidekick. He’ll happily curl up in the coziest spot he can find — preferably pressed against a human — but he’s also always ready for a backyard zoom session or a spirited wrestling match with his brother. He’s a lower-energy guy overall, but he has these adorable little bursts of excitement that make him look like he’s starring in his own action montage. He’s a fast learner, especially when peanut-butter Kongs are involved, and he’s taken to crate training like a pro. House training is still a work in progress, but he’s trying his best, and with a consistent routine, he’ll get there. He’s the kind of dog who wants to do the right thing — he just sometimes forgets to mention when he needs to go outside.Nik is wonderful with other dogs and would love to be adopted together with his brother Jo, but otherwise he genuinely seems happiest when he has another canine friend around. He’s respectful of older dogs, playful with younger ones, and overall just a polite little gentleman. He does have a touch of separation anxiety when he’s completely alone, but give him a buddy and he relaxes instantly, like, “Ah yes, emotional support acquired.”On walks, Nik is curious and observant, taking in the world with big eyes and tiny steps. He may pull a bit from excitement, but he’s so small that it’s more charming than anything else. Occasionally he’ll request to be carried, which he insists is due to the cold weather and not because he enjoys being held like royalty. He warms up to new people at his own pace, especially men, but once he decides you’re safe, he becomes your devoted little shadow. Grooming is tolerated with mild dramatic flair, but he’s cooperative and clearly wants to please.Nik is looking for a home that appreciates a sweet, affectionate, slightly quirky little dog who wants nothing more than to love and be loved. He’d be thril

Story
Meet Lela — a tiny girl with a heart big enough to fill your whole home. ❤️ Lela is an 8 kg Pinscher whose world changed when her beloved owner sadly passed away. With no one left to care for her, she found her way into our rescue — and from the very first day, she reminded us just how resilient love can be. At seven years young, Lela is thriving. She’s in wonderful health, full of gentle energy, and ready to enjoy many more happy years with a family of her own. She may be small in size, but her capacity for love is enormous. Lela is the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are. She adores people, loves to cuddle, and will happily curl up beside you as your loyal little shadow. Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly devoted, she truly just wants to belong again. She’s also wonderfully social — great with other dogs and gentle with cats — making her an easy fit for many homes. Whether it’s a quiet evening on the couch or a leisurely stroll, Lela will be right by your side, grateful for every moment. Lela is: ✨ Spayed ✨ Up to date on vaccinations ✨ Microchipped ✨ Good with dogs and cats ✨ Sweet, cuddly, and people-loving Lela isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone to be her safe place, her constant, her forever. In return, she promises unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a heart full of love.
