Story
Toby Roby: 11 years old, 20 pounds, Miniature Pinscher This senior is a  perfect match for a mature household that wants to pamper a little dog. Toby Roby is housetrained, crate trained, fine with dogs and cats (except when eating), good on a leash and overall well mannered. He does have 'get up and go' so if you don't have a fenced yard he would need several walks a day. Toby's adopter must be familiar with food guarding. This gentleman is good natured except around food and treats: he gets possessive, therefore no kids. He does not want to be disturbed. His foster writes, "Toby is a very sweet boy, but it takes him a little while to warm up. When it’s food time, he jumps up in the air until you set the bowl on the ground, then beware of approaching this little bugger! After meals he returns to his sweet self. " Toby loves to sleep on the couch pillows and going under the bed covers. He just needs time to adjust to to enjoy his meals in private. This dog is available and everything we know about this dog is included in the dog’s description. We are only able to respond to questions once a completed application is received https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. We do not respond to questions about our dogs sent through email or social media. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. Unless there is definitive documentation our breed and age assessments are based on visual appearances.November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Tommy is a 6.5-year-old, 15lb Miniature Pinscher. Are you looking for a sweet playful boy to bring joy to your life? Well look no further than Tommy the Min-Pin! Tommy loves to run around and play, and really just wants to be with his person all the time. He isn't a big fan of the crate, so he'd do best with someone who can give him a lot of attention, and he'd love another dog in the house to snuggle with. Tommy is leash trained but needs some work on his housebreaking. If you think you can give this happy boy his forever home, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › called 'Max' at the shelter (Craven Pamico)3 year old Maddox is a sweet little guy waiting for his forever home. He came to Pawfect Match very scared, but is slowly warming up. He was originally part of a hoarding case, then adopted from a shelter in Eastern NC; Maddox was returned to that shelter when his person became terminally ill.Maddox needs another dog in the home to help him continue to build confidence. He has an exuberant playstyle and likes to use his paws to get his friends attention - then he runs away for a game of chase and bounds around like a deer! Maddox is the perfect size at about 20 lbs!A fenced yard is a MUST, as the world is still super scary and Maddox startles very easily. Children make him nervous when he's outside, but when he's inside, he's accepting of their attention. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and ready to be your next family member! You can apply to adopt me here: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 19, 2024, 11:33 am
