Story
Allen is a super sweet pup that is 2 years old and 8 pounds. He was brought into Kern County shelter as a stray in Los Angeles. He was terrified in the shelter environment and displayed aggressive behaviors so ended up on the euthanasia list. Once pulled, he settled into his foster home very quickly  and has been nothing but sweet! He does great in a home and can't wait to meet his forever family! ##2245165##

This Miniature Pinscher is the perfect mix of sweet and spicy, and his personality is absolutely one-of-a-kind.   First things first—Bernie’s got the cutest snarl you’ll ever see. When he shows off that lip curl, it's pure sass, and trust us, you won't be able to stop laughing. If his attitude doesn’t crack a smile, well, we’re not sure what will!   But don’t let that little lip fool you—Bernie is as sweet as they come. He loves playing with his four-legged friends and is always up for a game. His playful nature is contagious, and you’ll never be bored with him around. When it’s time to wind down, though, this little guy is a true pillow prince. Bernie’s favorite nap spot? Right on your head! That’s right, he’ll curl up on top of you to make sure you get the most “affectionate” sleep possible. Confident and social, Bernie loves everyone he meets—whether they have two legs or four. If you want a dog with a big personality wrapped in a tiny, mighty package, Bernie is the one. Come meet him today—he’ll be sure to win you over with that snarl and his never-ending affection! A loving mom (Betty), approximately 2 years old, and her adorable 10-month-old daughter Veronica. These sweet souls have been through so much. Betty was vomiting non-stop for 12 hours, finally passing rocks and shells she had ingested, likely in desperation and Veronica endured the same painful ordeal. Despite their traumatic start, these dogs are incredibly affectionate and seek love and comfort. They're shy but eager to give and receive love, needing extra TLC to heal their hearts and bodies. Both Betty & Veronica are fully vaccinated and on HW & flea preventative.   Betty's Adoption fee is $400 - obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed front or backyard is also required.
