Happy Energetic, loving mixed breed gal looking for a nice family with another dog! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Princess Peach is a 11 mos old 24 lb Min Pin/Shepherd mix. She is a very loyal and energetic dog. She loves to hang with family. Princess Peach is house trained/crate trained/loves to play fetch/knows some commands/leash trained and likes to play with other dogs her size. She is in a foster home with a gentle 4 yr old child. There are no cats in the foster home, but at the clinic she is curious about the cats (does not bark or chase them). Princess Peach likes to play in water and go on walks/runs. Her ideal home (house with a yard) is an active home with children and a dog her size to pal around with. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Handsome Scappy is a two time visitor to our rescue. Initially, he came to us in 2019 after the family toddlers had frayed his last nerve. When our Shelter contacts diverted Scrappy to us, we welcomed him heartily! Not all dogs enjoy frantic kid affection, so we would like to see Scrappy thrive in an adult home with rescue savvy folks who can provide him with an active lifestyle and a calm structure. Nine years old, Scrappy is ready for his second act in a quiet, calm, adult home where he can unwind and be himself. Scrappy is a medium energy dog, who can certainly explode into the occasional Zoomies, but overall would prefer a quiet vibe. He could easily thrive in a serene adult home with other mellow dogs.  It seems to us that Scrappy is a mostly Min Pin, with a smidge of another Terrier that would explain his reverse black and tan markings. He is a splendid looking, muscular dog at just 12 pounds. He has a fantastic presence for a small dog. Scrappy has good house manners and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home. He is in optimal health, and has been neutered. He has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. If you are interested in Scrappy, please write to Denise at Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

Story
Available in TX only! Thunder is a sweet and cautious rescue dog who was found as a stray along with his two siblings. Initially shy around strangers, Thunder takes time to feel safe and requires a patient adopter who can help him overcome his fearfulness. He is best suited for a calm home without frequent visitors or high levels of activity outside the home. Thunder experiences car sickness and would need medication for long trips. Once trust is established, Thunder reveals his affectionate nature. He loves to cuddle and prefers sleeping close to his family, though he can be crated if necessary. Fully housebroken, Thunder is a playful dog who enjoys games of fetch, chew toys, and spending time outdoors. He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play freely. His friendly demeanor extends to other dogs, making him an excellent companion for a household with canine siblings. Thunder's ideal adopter will be understanding of his need for a consistent and reassuring environment. With time, patience, and love, Thunder will flourish as a loyal and loving member of his forever family.
