Story
Meet Rocky, he is 10 months old (estimated date of birth is February 2024), and is 24 lbs. Rocky was found on the streets on 9/24/2024 with no ID tag or microchip. Since then he was transferred to a foster family. Rocky is a great doggy, he is happy, has energy, loves to play and chase other dogs and the grand kids of the foster mom. He loves people and is not afraid of strangers, he also gets along great with dogs; he is not food aggressive. Walks great on leash and enjoys car rides (does not get dizzy), he is not a barker. He lives indoor/outdoor; enjoys sunbathing. Please note that Rocky is afraid of fireworks, his future family will have to be careful if Rocky is exposed to fireworks. He eats kibble with some boiled chicken and natural chicken broth (no salt). This boy is a gem and deserves to go to an awesome home!

Story
Meet our sweet & smart Dale!. Exciting adventures await with this adorable little super-heroe! Chip 'n Dale - he is a Dachshund & miniature Pinscher Expect to have with him a lifetime of love, cuddles, and doggy treats. He is 15 pounds; although he looks taller but he is very light - he will not be over 25 pound once full grown. He is very smart; lovable, lap pup, he loves to play tag of war and loves to fetch as well. Sometimes he looks like a Bambi, such a cute face he gives you:) He is being fostered with a pack of 15 dogs and 7 cats - therefore, he is a dog and cat friendly. His best friend who is like a brother to him is Leo. So if you are looking for 2 pups, 1 small and one medium these 2 will make a great addition to your family and will bring hours of enjoyment when you then together playing and loving each other. Dale sits on the head of Leo when he goes to sleep..lol.. However, no need to adopt them together, only if you are looking for 2 pups to adopt. He is very funny, and he will provide you with lots of hours of enjoyment as he has an amazing personality. He is crate trained; he sleeps all night in his crate with no accidents.:) As with all rescued fury kids; they are going to need training, love reinforcement; as you know they all come from a tough beginning on their lives and the art of adopting a rescued creature is to bring them to be the best they can be with love and patience. Their donation adoption fee includes being spayed/neutered, they have received their 3 core puppy vaccines, dewormed, and a free health checkup through a local participating vet clinic. Bart was removed from the shelter in August has been doing great with training. He is estimated to be about 3-4 years old and is a huge cuddle bug. He loves people and is insanely food motivated, which helps with training. With that in mind, be mindful of him picking stuff off the floor and he should be feed on a schedule (no free /open feeding).

Story
Jody is around 10 years old and weighs 10 lbs. Despite her age she’s still an active girl. She’s friendly with people and social with other dogs. One of our staff found Jody in the middle of a busy street and scooped her up and out of harms way. She appeared to have been living on the streets for some time. But she belonged to someone at some time because she is spayed, and most likely at one of our spay/neuter clinics because she has the ink tattoo we use. If you would like to meet this dog you can read about our adoption process and submit an application on our website at: http://www.bajaanimalsanctuary.org/dogs.htm  December 5, 2024, 11:17 pm
