Story
How this pet arrived: Tex Mex was brought in by a community member on July 6, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Tex Mex, a shy soul who takes his time adjusting to new faces and places. In unfamiliar environments, his first instinct might be to run away, so he needs a quiet and secure home, without young children, where he can feel safe. Although Tex Mex hasn't shown his social side with us yet, he has a soft spot for bacon treats and cheese, making treats a great way to bond with him. When he's excited, he might surprise you with a burst of zoomies followed by a cozy nap (this boy loves his naps)! Tex Mex has done well with other small dogs, especially with slow and gentle introductions. Tex Mex does have some medical concerns and we would love to have you speak with one of our vets prior to adoption to set everyone up for success! If you're patient and ready to offer a loving, calm environment, Tex Mex could be the perfect addition to your family! Shy/Fearful Dog: Tex Mex requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about him.Dog Reactive Dog:  Tex Mex requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about him. Primary Color: Brown Weight: 17 Age: 7yrs 2mths 3wks

Story
Finn: 6 yr old black & tan male, neutered, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 16 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. Finn is around 6 years old but looks and acts younger, he's in good shape! He was picked up from an LA shelter where we at IMPS then saved him from euthanasia. Finn is playful but his very favorite thing to do is to cuddle laying on his back with his human. He enjoys treats, bones and walks! He loves warm blankies and sleeping next to someone. Finn is not a fan of being crated for long periods of time. He enjoys being with his human and giving kisses. Finn is fully housebroken, knows how to use the doggy door and easy to train. We've been working on a couple commands that he's quickly picked up. You know when he's comfortable because he falls into a deep sleep and snores. If you want a laid-back sweet and funny little guy then Finn is the MAN! Watch videos of Finn at: https://youtube.com/shorts/QvIL3uqZUIE https://youtu.be/HKqcDcfDLoQ Note: Finn is located in Mesa, AZ - and we will not fly this boy. Story
Hello, my name is Coqueta, which means "flirtatious" in Spanish, and I live up to my name! I'm a young female dog, and I'm on the lookout for a special someone to call my own. I'm a bright, lively, and curious girl, and I'm always ready for my next adventure. I'm very loyal to my human friends and I love nothing more than to play and explore with them. I'm also a bit of an independent spirit, so I'm always up for some alone time. If you're looking for a fun-loving and devoted companion, I'm the girl for you. Come and meet me today and see if we're a match made in heaven! All of our dogs are completely medically vetted and vaccinated, de-wormed, treated with flea & tick prevention medication, 3 & 4DX tested, microchipped and spayed and neutered. Story
Chico: 2 yr old Red/Cream or Tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 13 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. **We will post better photos and a video of Chico once he heals from his neuter. Chico is a young, very beautiful Red who tried to be a Chocolate. His nails are Chocolate as is his nose. The rest of him is Red and Cream or Tan color. He has the most outgoing and loving personality! Sweet is an understatement. If you want a low energy dog, Chico is not your man. If you want non-stop entertainment on steroids, then Chico is the perfect boy! He is the perfect combination of sweet and loving and high energy antics that will keep you smiling and endlessly entertained! Oh and if you want a dog that turns heads, Chico is certainly that! Chico was extremely stressed by the loss of his owner and his stay in the shelter. After getting home, he has shown normal anxiety from the neuter and move to a new home, but is settling in just fine. He is quiet if there is sound and he knows a human is near. Even the TV on is enough for him to settle down and relax. Even when he cries out, he quiets down quickly. He has only been here for 12 hours and is really adapting very nicely! See a video of Chico here: https://youtube.com/shorts/ZvkHGP7F0F8?si=Hy85RqATKUmh-KJ5 Chico is in California and will be considered for adoption by residents of California or possibly adjacent states. We will not fly or ship Chico. Note: Chico is located near Bakersfield, CA - for now - and we will not fly this boy. Story
Meet Lee, an adorable and lively mix of Chihuahua, Miniature Pinscher, Poodle, and Pekingese. Lee will stay small but has a big heart full of love to give. This playful little guy is super friendly and loves being around people. Lee takes a little time to adjust to new dogs, but he warms up quickly. Lee is full of energy and loves to play&#194&#151whether it's with his toys or alongside his sibling. He's also working on house training and is doing well. Lee is the perfect combination of fun, affection, and intelligence, making him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a small but spirited pup. If you're searching for a playful, sociable dog who loves snuggles and attention, Lee is the perfect fit. Bring this sweet boy home and let the adventures begin! Lee is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Lee, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I doginfo@labsandmore.org if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life!
