Story
We are rehoming Silas due to us moving within the next few months and we won’t be able to take him with us. Silas is 4 year old long haired dachshund who is a cuddle bug and likes to voice his opinion. He enjoys sunbathing and spending time outside (cold or warm weather) especially if there are sticks around. Silas is very loyal to his people and will show his love with kisses and snuggles. He does well with other dogs, but has a more dominant personality. Likely will do better with kids that are elementary school age or older. It’s preferred that someone who owns or has owned a dachshund in the past adopts Silas as they understand their demeanor. Asking for a rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a home that is invested in him and due to his shots being updated November 2024.

Story
Piper Pipes was born outside and did not see the inside of a house. The litter was free, as it was noted to be an accident. I picked her up, and three baths later, she was free of fleas and ticks. Piper is 6 years old and will be 7 in May. She loves other dogs, but please be mindful that she is a dog that will get hyper and will be in other dogs faces. She still has not learned that other dogs do not like that very much. She loves to be close to her humans. She is crate-trained and house-trained. She does have a tendency to whine if she is in the crate and cannot be close to you, but she will lie down and settle after a few minutes. Piper will become your second doorbell once she hears it and or sees someone new enter the house. She comes with her crate and all of her remaining food. She is UTD and spayed. Piper also has a stuffed turtle that she loves that will come with her. She does not like toys with stuck-out eyes. That stuffed animal will be destroyed in 24 hours.
