Story
This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Mazie and goodness what a cracker jack she is.  Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy.  She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance.  Mazie is 30 pounds and 9 months old.  She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told.  Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl.  Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her.  We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning.  She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them.  She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily.  Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say.  She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE!  We want the right and perfect home and there are lots out there that can give her that.  Tiny but Mighty little Mazie is ready for a home NOW!  Please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue : ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Tell us where you live when you email asking for information and an application. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Pugsley is a Dachshund/Terrier mix that weighs 20 lbs and is 10 months old. He is very sweet with a submissive personality. Pugsley loves to be petted, cuddle, play with toys, chew bones and go on walks. Pugsley is house trained and crate trained. He gets along well with other dogs and had done well with kids in public. There is a cat in his foster home and Pugsley sometimes chases her but only to play. This loving and playful puppy can't wait to meet his forever family!  If you are interested in adopting Pugsley, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **  October 29, 2024, 6:10 pm

Story
Jojo is a sweet 10 year old man who has the perkiness of a pup. He loves being around other dogs, getting belly rubs, going for walks and snuggling up in a bed of his own. He’s pretty quiet and only seems to bark when he wants a little bit of attention. JoJo seems to be great around everyone. He is house and crate trained, and fully vetted. JoJo weighs a bulky 15 pounds and is a Dachshund/Maltese mix. If you are interested in adopting Jojo, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.
