Story
Meet George! He recently arrived from a shelter affected by Hurricane Milton. He is about 4 months old and weighs 27 lbs. The shelter had identified him as a Mastiff pup, but we don't know that for sure. He does have the sad, droopy Mastiff face, but George is a loving, playful, silly puppy who is ready for his forever home. George is friendly with everyone and should be ok with kids over the age of 6. He gets along with the dogs and cats in his foster home. He is crate trained and making good progress on potty and leash training. The first step to meeting George is to submit an application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
She is a sweet mastiff pup that love to cuddle and play. She has a very calm and loving nature. The dad is a Fila Mastiff and the mother is a duo-bull mastiff( in this case, means half kangal mastiff and half bull mastiff). This mastiff combination can live for 13 years. This makes the her100 percent mastiff. She is very smart, in a good way lol. Both parents are sweet and healthy. She has been around kids, cats, and other dogs. She is 1 years old. Right now, she weighs approximately 85. She is not going to get much bigger, because she is growth is along the female bull mastiff side. She will be 100 pounds, at the very most. Female bull mastiffs do not get very big, compared to other mastiffs. Adoption fee is 350.00

Story
Meet Boondock, a lovable and playful 1-year-old neutered male brindle Mastiff mix who is looking for his forever home! This extra-large, gentle giant is a big teddy bear who adores giving and receiving hugs. He loves spending time in the backyard with his favorite stuffed animals, so a home with a fenced-in yard is ideal for this big boy to romp and play.Boondock is food-motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. He’s working on perfecting his basic commands and is making progress, though he still needs some leash training since he tends to pull when excited. While Boondock`s affection is boundless, he sometimes gets so excited that he jumps up on people, so a home with older kids would be best to avoid accidental knock-overs.Boondock has a heart as big as his size, and with a little patience and consistency, he’ll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. If you’re looking for a sweet, huggable, and energetic dog to fill your home with love, Boondock is ready to be your new best friend!

Story
Georgia is a well-mannered lady seeking a forever home to call her own. She was adopted as a puppy and over the years one of the family member's allergies got progressively worse. Testing determined that dogs are one of her highest allergen triggers. The family reached out to LHS for assistance helping Georgia find the home she deserves.  She is crate trained and house broken. She gets along great with dogs, cats and kids of all shapes and sizes. She loves to play fetch and going for walks. But she is also content just Netflix and chilling with her family too.  She has been spayed and microchipped, fully vaccinated and is heartworm negative. If you would like to meet this loving lady, please complete an online application today: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society Age: 7 years old Weight: 115lbsWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program.
