I can be a bit dog selective and that's okay, it just means I'm particular about my friends! NO SMALL BREED DOG! I am not too crazy about the smaller breed dogs. Think I'm cute and want to meet with me, bring your current pup for a meet and greet to see if we get along! NO CATS! I never learned to make friends with cats, so long as you have a feline free environment, I'll be the best addition to your home. Want to be my new family? Come by the shelter and see me any time Tuesday- Saturday from 12pm-5pm, no appointment needed! I am bonded to Apollo, my brother. We have been together our whole lives, and I can't imagine life without my brother. We must go home together, and our adoption fee includes the both of us! I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment. I get easily frustrated and can exhibit this in a variety of ways. I will need positive outlets for my energy, and a calm environment. I am a sensitive and shy pup! - I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment. What my friends of SPCA of Bradley County say about me:"Zeus is a sweet boy. He is very anxious in this environment, and I would need someone who can be very patient with my brother and myself. He does not do well without his brother by his side, so they are a bonded pair. He is such a good boy though. Both Zues and his brother will need plenty of room to express themselves, and a patient soul to let them be themselves. Would you like to open your heart and home to these lovely brothers? As always, introductions to existing family members should be done slowly and over time. Our adoptions team will give you suggestions on how to introduce your new family member! Visit anytime! The Adoption Center is open Tuesday-Saturday from 12pm-5pm. Appointments are not required for adoptions! Primary Color: Caramel Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 110 Age: 2yrs 1mths 1wks

I can be a bit dog selective and that's okay, it just means I'm particular about my friends! NO SMALL DOGS AT ALL! I don't like the smaller breed dogs. Think I'm cute and want to meet with me, bring your current pup for a meet and greet to see if we get along! I would do good in a home that has no small kids. Older kids might be fine as long as my boundaries are respected. I am bonded to Zeus, my brother. We have been together our entire lives, and we get very sad when we are separated. Story
Rocky is 2-1/2 years old, born Feb 22. He was my daughter’s boyfriends dog, he abandoned Rocky at our home and left the state. We have 2 other dogs (a chihuahua & a beagle mix), and 2 cats. We are older and cannot properly care for Rocky nor handle his size, although we love him and do our best. He has been with us since 2/24. He is very protective, good with kids and our other animals. House trained. With proper training and a harness, could be leash trained. He’s an inside dog, prefers to sleep in bed with us, but we have a large dog bed that would go with him. I could see him being happy on a farm or land given his breed. He is gentle for his size, has never shown aggression. Eats his meals along side our other pets and takes treats gently. He was neutered, chipped and vaccinated as a puppy, but has not seen a vet since then. He could use a good grooming, although short haired, he must have some Pyrenees undercoat. We really want a good home for him with someone younger and active.

Story
This boy is part of our rescue from Rockdale County, GA due to the chemical fire there. We are slowly learning their personalities. This is a big boy that likes to play! He loves toys of all sorts and just wants to have a fun time. He is with another dog right now and gets along fine. He is not an alpha personality and just seems to go with the flow. He did well in a crate on a car ride and had no problems being on a leash except pulling a bit. He seems like he would be great in any home but would need a yard or some area to be able to run and play.
