Nugget is back in rescue and we are thrilled to have him.Nugget is a lovable 6-year-old Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Sadly, his previous family could no longer care for him, and he returned to our rescue significantly overweight. But don’t worry—Nugget is already on the road to a healthier lifestyle with the “green bean diet” and regular exercise, and he’s making great progress!He’s a bit of a “bull in a china shop” for now, but that’s just his playful spirit shining through. Nugget does well with other dogs and is fantastic with kids—he grew up in a home with several children and absolutely adored them.Nugget does have some separation anxiety, so a home where someone is around most of the time or a family with staggered schedules would be ideal.
